Chapter 21: The Dunce And The Dolt

I called Ruby and Weiss to bring Shaylynn, so they could see Blake. I didn't tell them she was awake, but that I wanted to see Shay. They obliged and said they would be there soon. I smiled and looked back at Blake and took in all of her gorgeousness for a moment. Her silky and wavy raven colored hair, her cute little kitten ears, her glimmering amber eyes, and her palish, pink tinted, soft skin. Everything about her was beautiful and I loved her.

We both agreed that we would have our wedding in three weeks from now, and it would be small and not so expensive. I felt myself start to heat up when we talked about it and Blake would have to tell me to cool down some so she would be able to breathe a little.

Ruby and Weiss weren't too long and when they arrived, Ruby was hugging Blake every chance she got. I made her get off of Blake so she could hold Shaylynn. As soon as Shay was in her arms cuddling with her mom, Blake was finally at peace with all of the sounds and machines. She kissed the top of the month old's head and stroked her cheek, telling her she was sorry she was gone for so long. Weiss smiled at me and I gave her the thumbs up, telling her she should tell Rubes.

"Hey R-Ruby?"

"Yeah Weiss?"

"I'm...i'm pregnant. You're gonna be a mom." Weiss said, breaking down in tears.

"Weiss. Really?!" Ruby said excitedly.

"Of course, you dolt! Why would I lie about something this important to you?" She said with a slight smile. Blake and I sat next to each other, holding hands, while she snugged with Shay and I could stare at my favorite 2 people and finally be happy.
