Chapter two: Wedding Announcement

After I called Belikova I packed up and went to bed.

I woke up the next morning to my maid and best friend Laura shaking me lightly.

"Rose wake up. if you don't get up now, you'll be late for your marriage announcement."

With those words I shot up from my laying down position, and knocked heads with Laura in the process.

"Shit, Laura I'm sorry!" I exclaim worriedly trying to look at her head.

"No, rose it's fine." She says while rubbing her head.

I get up and take a shower, then I got dressed in a turquoise sundress and some black heels. I let my natural waves fall down my back and added light makeup.

I go down stairs and I am greeted by my father. "oh, Rose you look beautiful."

"Thanks dad. So should we get going?"

"Yes, of course."

We get into the car and drive to the restaurant. While we were on our way to meet the Belikova's, I told dad about my interaction with Tasha. By the end of my story we were both laughing hysterically.

We walk in the restaurant and are immediately greeted by the Belikova's. I sat next to my father the. Viktoria sat next to me. We were discussing wedding details, which I wasn't interested in at all a voice cut through the crowd.

"Rose?!" Called out a voice I'd know anywhere.

"Eddie?!" I turned around and sprinted into the arms of my best friend since birth, Eddie Castile. he wrapped his arms around me and spun me around, I let out a giggle which was really embarrassing. He put me down.

"Did you just giggle?" he asked laughing.

"Shut up, you know I haven't 'giggled' since the fifth grade."

"Yeah your right. OW!" He yelped when I punched him in the arm.

"What was that for?"

"That was for not calling me! I thought you were dead!" I exclaimed.

"Well I'm sorry for worrying you."

"Yeah you better be."

"Ahem." someone cleared their throat from behind me.

"Oh! I'm sorry! this is my soon to be fiancé, Dimitri Belikova," I said pointing to Dimitri. "and his family, dad you remember Eddie, right?"

"How could I forget you two were practically inseparable." Eddie and I laugh a little at that.

"Well I've got to get going. We should go out for some drinks sometime, Rose."

"Definitely, Eddie."

"I'll call you."

"You better."

"Bye Mr. Mazur."

"Please Eddie call me Abe, I thought we covered this. And goodbye." We turn our separate ways, and I sit back down at the table with a smile on my face. After we finished I had to 'freshen up a bit, so I went to the bathroom. When I finished I found that he was waiting for me.

"What do you want Belikova?" I asked annoyed.

"Just wanted to tell you, that you are not going to see that Eddie guy, ever again."

"The hell I will! You don't own me! One word from me and the marriage is off, we both know that mazur inc. doesn't need any financial aid. You need our help and if this wedding doesn't go through, your down fall will come very soon." I said barley audible. "Don't piss me off, got it?"
