Chapter eight: the morning after

Rose POV

I woke up with my head on Dimitris chest. I soon recalled the events of last night. my face reddened instantly. I looked up at him his eyes were open just watching me. I smiled at him. he looked at me as if searching for signs of regret, but I knew he wouldn't find any. he smiled when he saw I had no regret. we stayed like that for awhile. him holding me.

Then my phone rang. I wrapped the sheet around me and went to get it. "Hello?" I asked groggily. "Rosie? did you just wake up?" He asked. I could sense the smirk on his face. "shut up Eddie boy." I said smiling. "what did you want anyway. you interrupted my beauty sleep." I said giggling. "oh Rosie I'm so sorry we all need as much of it as you can get." he said laughing. I walked back to the bed and snuggled with Dimitri. "Shut up. but seriously, what do you want?" "I just wanted to make sure that we're having drinks tonight." "Yeah. at six" I explained. "cool. I have a surprise for you." He said happily. "oh really? what is it?" I asked trying to get him to tell me. "it wouldn't be a surprise if I told would it now?" he said amused. "yeah your right." I said in defeat. "okay Rosie I've got to go, but I'll see you at six." "Okay. bye Eddie boy." Then I hung up. I looked over to Dimitri and smiled. "what did he want?" He asked coldly. "are you Dimitri belikov, my futur husband jealous?" I asked amused. "no." he said all to quickly. "look there's nothing for you to be worried about, okay?" he nodded, but looked like he didn't believe me. I heaved a big sigh "Dimitri..i gave you my virginity. if that's not saying I love you then I don't know what does." I said in a sad tone. he looked at me with sadness in his eyes. I don't know if it was because he hurt me or that he was jealous. I wrapped the sheet around myself and grabbed my bag. I pulled out my black skinny jeans and whit tank top. along with my panties and bra. I quickly slipped on my panties and let go of the sheet. I didn't want to walk to the bathroom completely naked. when I got there I pulled on the rest of my clothes. I left the bathroom to grab my makeup bag and headed back to the bathroom. when I finished I headed down to the kitchen.

When I got there he was sipping his coffee. he saw me and smiled. I went over to him and kissed his cheek. "I've got to go, before Laura starts blowing up my phone." I said gently. he looked confused. "who's Laura?"he asks curious. "a friend/personal maid. why should I be worried?" I asked trying to make a joke. he smiled at me. "absolutely not." he said in triumphant tone. we kissed again and I left when I got to the car I pulled out my phone and dialed Laura's number.

"Hello?" she asked. "hey Laura can you buy me some pregnancy tests?" I asked politely. "um.......sure? why? do you think your pregnant? I thought you were a virgin?" "Well, I was until last night." I said smirking. "WHAT?!" she shouted into the phone. "yes so can you just buy me some are not?" I questioned her amused. "yeah rose sure." "See you when I get home."

When I got home Laura wasn't back yet so she went upstairs as she reached the top of the stairs she felt nausea overtake her. she ran to the bathroom in my room and threw up my guts. After I finished I wiped off my mouth with a wet washcloth and brushed her teeth. soon after Laura arrived home. she smiled at me, and handed me the box. She smiled a nervous smile. I left to the bathroom and after I was done I placed it on the counter. we had to see the results.

When the time was up I went to the bathroom. I nervously picked up the stick and I sighed in relief. there on the stick was a blue minus sign. Laura came in and I handed her the stick and she smiled. "thank god!" I exclaimed and we giggled.

When six rolled around Dimitri, Eddie, and I were at the bar. I was sipping my drink while Eddie and Dimitri were drinking beer. "so Dimitri. where's your friend?" I asked. "he should be here soon." "so Eddie what's this surprise." I asked Eddie eager. "you'll have to wait Rosie." "ugh." I groan in frustration. Eddie and Dimitri laughed. then some guy came up to our table. "rose Eddie this is mikhail." "hey mikhail."I said with a smile extending my hand to him. He shook it and sat down. when someone came up from behind me and covered my eyes "guess who." the voice said. I gasped and turned towards him. "MASON!?" I exclaimed.
