Chapter thirteen: reception

Once we kissed everyone stood up and clapped.We left the church holding hands. We got into our car.

We drove to the hotel. we walk to the ball room and I clap my over my to prevent a cry to come out. I could feel the tears welling up. the place was beautiful. there were round table with whit table clothes. six chairs at each table and name tags at each place. in the middle there was a glass container with water in it, and floating on the water was a colored candle. sitting by each of the name tags were silverware wrapped in whit clothe. it wasn't to bright in here, but it was bright enough. at the front was a long table for the wedding party. my husband tugs me by the hand towards the table. we sit in the middle him on my left. There was a big dance floor over on the left side of the room. a bar in the back of the room, and two little doors where the food will come out of. by the door there was a table with the book and pen. then the rest of the table was empty for the gifts.

People started pooling in everyone who came in signed the book. some came over to wish me congrats. I was looking at the crowd when I felt someone hands on my shoulder I turn and see amber. "amber!?" I exclaim. I stand up and hug her hard. "rose you looks so beautiful." she says looking me up and down. "thanks amber. I can't believe you came!" then she punched my arm. "what the hall was that for?" I ask surprised. "That was for not letting me be one of your bridesmaids." the realization hit. "amber I'm so sorry but your brother wouldn't give me your number." I say truthfully. "we'll have to take that up with him." I said I turn and call him "Eddie boy" he looks and he sees his sister and the panic spreads across his face. I smirk. he take his sweet time to get over here.

When he does get over here she smacks the back if his head. "okay I probably deserved that." he said. "yeah you do." I said. "okay look I'm sorry, you told me to not call you while you were in Mexico." Eddie said trying to defend himself. "I would've picked up if rose called me." they were arguing now. "okay why don't I introduce amber to my husband." I say trying to get off this subject. "yeah let's do that." Eddie said grateful that I was changing the subject. we walk over to him. "hey." I said walking over to him. he wraps his arm around his waist. when he sees amber his face is confused for a brief second. then returns to normal. Out of the corner of my eye I saw amber lift her pointer finger to her lips as if shushing him. I shrugged it off, and introduced them.

"Dimitri meet my best friend or should I say sister. Amber Castile." I said smiling. "Amber this is my husband Dimitri Belikov." they skald hands "nice to meet you Dimitri." Amber said looking at Dimitri confused. "you too." Dimitri said. "oh amber is your mother here?" I ask hoping to see her. "She's over there talking to Abe." She says pointing over to where they were standing. "Okay I'm just going over there to say hi. Go have fun amber. you to Dimitri." I say walking off. I walk over there and I see amber taking Dimitri by the hand and pull him over to the bathrooms. I wait until their out of sight till I go after them. I slowly walk to the bathroom. I get there and I hear moans from inside. I slowly push the door open and there i see Dimitri, my newly wedded husband pushed up against the wall kissing amber. a loud whimper/cry escapes my mouth I feel tears running down my face. my hands are covering my mouth. they turn around and see me standing there. the looks on their faces were full of sorrow,guilt, and sadness. I turn and run. I felt like my heart was ripped out of my chest, and hacked up into little pieces.

...Then I woke up.

Someone was shaking me. "rose wake up. we're almost there." my new husband was looking at me. "sorry, guess I was tired." I say stretching. my heart was still thumping in my chest. I notice Eddie looking at me. "rose you okay?" Eddie asks me. "yeah just a bad dream." I say smiling. "Eddie is your mom coming?" I ask looking at him. he smiles at me. "when I told her she kept going on and on about you, and how excited she was for you. so yeah she is coming." "is your sister coming?" I ask quietly. "no she's in Morocco. probably drinking her heart out." he says with a look that isn't a good one. "still not over Alyssa?" "Nope." he said popping the p. " "I don't understand. she could drink at my wedding." I said disappointed. "well, she always said that if you swung that way she would worship you." he said smirking at me. "who said I didn't?" I say and all the guys in the car choked on their drinks except for Eddie. "you what!?" mason exclaimed. "what?" I say confused. "Eddie you knew?" I say looking at him. "yeah she couldn't keep her mouth shut. I'm surprised that the whole school didn't know." mason was just staring at me. "see something you like ashford?" I ask. he shakes his head. "you and amber?" mason squeaks out. "yes and?" I say rolling my eyes. then Eddie punched mason in the arm. "stop staring." Eddie whispers. "how come Eddie knows all your secrets?" Mark asks. "we've known each other for a long time." Eddie says. "told him everything." I say looking from face to face. "Everything?" Dimitri asks. I look at him and smile. "not that. that's between you and me." I say quietly. Eddie and mason look at me with a knowing look. I look at my hands my face getting red. Dimitri puts his arm around my shoulder and pulls me into him.

We got there and everyone was already there. the tab with the book and pen had lots of beautifully wrapped presents. we sit at the table. Dimitri on my left. Laura on my left. after Laura is vika, then, karolina, then Sonya. On Dimitris side is Eddie, mason, mikhail, and then mark. it was time for the toasts. Laura, Eddie, karolina,mikhail, and my dad gave speeches. then the food was brought out. I smiled when I saw it. Dimitri had made the food was the first dinner we had together as a couple. the night I gave him my innocents. after we are we all danced. we danced and danced and danced. We had so much fun. Dimitri and I kissed and danced. I'm pretty sure I drank a little to much. after everyone left Dimitri took me to our limo and we rode it to the airport.

When we got there we thanked the driver and headed to the private jet. my walking was a little tipsy, so Dimitri had to hold me up. he was laughing the entire time. we got seated on the jet. I took Dimitris hand and I kissed his cheek. "I love you my husband." I said smiling a grin that almost broke my face. He smiled back at me and said "I love you too, my wife."
