Murder

The police were inspecting a body and evidence near an alley way. A forensic covered the body with a sheet so on lookers wouldn't see the bloody body. One of the forensic workers uncovered the body to take another look. Raiden turned around and looked at him.

"By the gods! Leave her body be! Shinnok I swear..." he said while placing the sheet back on the body.

"I just needed another quick look" he responded.

"You'll look at it more later. Do you see anything else that's interesting?"

Shinnok looked around and picked up a bullet casing. He placed it in a bag and zipped it up. "That's one clue"

"You finally did something useful"

Shinnok hit the back of Raiden's head in a playful way. Raiden just looked at him and smiled. He couldn't contain himself at times when he's around.

"Where's the Noob?" Shinnok asked.

"He's seeing his brother at the moment."

"Oh? Why is that?"

"He just got injured yesterday so I suggested he takes a week or two off."

"Can you at least give more info."

"He was here the day this happened and he was shot as well. Luckily he survived."

"Ah... well maybe we might find the same bullet from him." Shinnok replied while holding the evidence.

Kuai hated hospitals ever since he was a kid. It made him feel uneasy, but luckily he felt some comfort thanks to Hanzo being there. Hanzo slept on the chair next to the bed and held Kuai's hand. He smiled seeing his boyfriend still by his side. He began to remember about what he tried to make him do the night he got shot. His smile faded and he felt guilty for trying to give Hanzo something he didn't want. Hanzo began to awaken from the long sleep from what happened last night.

"Morning." Hanzo softly spoke to Kuai. He felt him move his hair away from his face.

"I'm surprised you stayed" Kuai kissed Hanzo's hand.

"Why wouldn't I?"

"I'm not sure. Maybe from guilt or something"

Hanzo was about to speak when he heard a knock on the door. Kuai's brother Bi-Han walked in and smiled.

"Hey there." He smiled and closed the door. "Was I interrupting something?"

"Yes. Yes you were." Kuai looked at Bi-Han with a serious look. "Why are you really here?"

"To see you of course"

"No... I mean why are you really here" Kuai began to sit up from the bed.

"Fine. I'm not only here for checking up on my little shit of a brother, but for something else that came up."

"Which is?"

"Well... We have a lead on what happened. The bullet used to shoot you was from a specific seller who only sells to two people. And one of them is Shao Khan."

"Are you telling me that-"

"Yeah. He must have hired someone from your boyfriend's family to shoot you down, but the thing is we think it's linked to more than one investigation. Remember that accident with his daughter?"

"Yes"

"We think he has something to do with that and the number we found is linked with that one seller of the bullet."

"Are you sure about this?"

"Well... we haven't gathered all the evidence to prove this but-"

"So my family has to do with all of this" Hanzo said sternly

"It can be a possibility" Bi-Han responded.

Hanzo simply nodded and got up. Kuai reaches for his hand quickly, but in the process fell down from his bed.

"Oh my god! What the hell are you doing??" Hanzo asked while helping him up.

"Just-ow fuck! I just wanted to comfort you from that kind of news." Kuai held onto Hanzo's hand to assure him that everything would be fine.

"You could have just said something besides hurt yourself some more!!"

"I'm sorry..." he stared into his boyfriend's eyes as he saw a small smile appear on his lips.

"Ugh! Are you two done?? I might as well leave the room! Please don't tell me you both are going to do it after all of this?" Bi-Han asked wishing now that he didn't!!

The two of them blushed while looking in different directions.

"Oh my god you already did... How the fuck did you even have time throughout all that happened that night??!! Never mind!! Don't tell me!! I'm leaving!! Here's what we have so far for now. Enjoy reading it! Bye!" Bi-Han got out as soon as possible.

He went over to another floor and headed straight for Mileena's room. He knocked on the door till he heard a voice say "come in". He opened it and there was Sindel and Shao Kahn looking at their daughter asleep from the morphine dosage she was given.

"Oh I'm sorry... I was here to talk to Mileena but-"

"Talk to her about what?" Shao Kahn walked over to him. He saw a couple of papers in the agent's hand. "Let me see them."

"Psh! Hell nah" With that, Bi-Han walked out and closed the door. He went to the elevator and clicked for the lobby floor. A nurse walked in with a cart that had some dishes for the patients and medicines. She smiled at him as the doors closed. She quickly grabbed one of the needles and tried to stab him in the neck. He grabbed the woman's arm twisting it and knocking the needle out of her hand. He slammed her straight into the cart and grabbed the needle. He held her by the neck and injected it into her system.

The doors opened and he walked out with the papers in hand and his phone out with a picture of her wrist tattoo. He sent it to Raiden and called him. "Hey Raiden? You won't believe what the hell just happened to me right now"
