On Sunday night, Ryan and I spend the evening on our balcony. Since it's early February and still pretty cold out, he brought out all of our blankets, and placed a small heater near us as we piled onto the small couch he put out here. I'm not sure what's keeping me warm, the six blankets on me or Ryan, whose arm is wrapped around me and whose chest is perfect to lean against as a pillow. "I never really liked Batman." He tells me, and I squish my lips to the side before nodding.

"Yeah, I preferred superman, but marvel is better." I comment, and he nods seriously.

"Hands down, DC has nothing on Marvel." He agrees, taking a sip of his hot chocolate that I made for us. Some might say we're stupid for sitting out in the cold: but in all honesty, Ryan is like a human heater and I really like cuddling with him. We're still In that honeymoon phase, where we aren't all the way comfortable, but we're not horribly awkward either so I feel weird asking him to cuddle- this is the perfect way to do it. I really enjoy not being just roommates, and last night I found myself looking through wedding boards on Pinterest, specifically ones with a burgundy color scheme.

"What's your favorite-" Ryan starts but is interrupted by someone calling his name. He raises a brow, then looks back to me. "What's your favorite fruit?"

I grin slowly, before looking over my shoulder toward the bottom of our balcony. "Apples. Are you really going to ignore that?"

"Ignore what?" He asks innocently, shrugging before pulling me closer. I lean against him, closing my eyes and enjoying how peaceful it is to sit outside on the balcony, wrapped up in him and blankets that smell like him.

"Ryan Phoenix Pierce, I know you're up there! I can see Julie's tiny feet!"

I open my eyes, before leaning back some to look up at the blonde beside me who pinches the bridge of his nose. "He's the worst. I gave him a key because he comes over whenever he wants which is why I gave him a key but he doesn't remember to bring it." He rambles in annoyance, making me laugh as I realize who it is. I slide off the couch, and walk toward the edge of the balcony.

"Julie! Babe! It's very cold out here, could you please let me in?" The brunette calls from below, and I realize it really is cold away from Ryan and the blankets, because I find myself shivering. I cross my arms as a blanket engulfs me, and Ryan appears beside of me.

"I gave you a key, Benjamin." He reminds him as he places his hand on the balcony surrounding me and radiating heat. His friend grins which is hard to not notice because his teeth sparkle even in the darkness.

"You know I forget my keys."

"You live across the road." Ryan deadpans, and I look up at him then at the apartment buildings across the street. If he lived so close, why not just move in together? I'm not even going to ask, considering if he had then I wouldn't have been snuggled up on the balcony with Ryan; let's not question when life hands you a very handsome, gentleman of a roommate turned boyfriend, Julie.

"Ryan, it's freezing." Ben reminds him, which makes Ryan sigh. He looks down at me, before looking back to his friend.

"Fine." He agrees. As soon as the word leaves Ryan's mouth, Ben disappears from our sight and I laugh. Ryan shakes his head, then kisses my temple, leaving me swooning as he heads back inside to open the door. I collect our blankets, and toss them on the couch before grabbing the heater and setting It next to the sliding glass door for hopeful future use. I sit on the couch and huddle under the blankets again, as Ryan unlocks the door for his friend, then sits back down with me on the couch. He wraps his arm around my shoulder, as he turns on the TV and switches it to basketball.

"Do you like sports?" He asks me, looking as if he wants me to desperately say yes. I smile and nod, before hurriedly adding.

"College sports, with only a few exceptions."
