--First Person Sia--

She nodded briskly, slipping into the backseat. It was set up like the Mad Hatter would arrive any second to commence the tea party. The taxi was baby blue on the inside and the seats were covered in pastel rose cloth of all shapes and colors. Soft and worn out as though it had been used for years.

"How much to get me to 61542 Cecelia Street from here?"

"Ahh, first you gotta tell me your name, kiddo."

"Sia; now go."

"First we must pray to our lord and savior."

"What?"

Sia looked up from her measley hodgepodge of dollar bills and coins jingling in her clenched palm to notice the life sized poster of Jesus, Flo had unrolled on the front seat. There, she saw a shrine with a couple of crumpled up bills in front that she'd tried to straightened out. She lit a scented candle and tilted her chin forward. Sia sat, absolutely speechless until a honking car knocked her out of her stupor.

"Lorence, or whatever your name is, I'm going to say this again. You need to start driving," Sia said through her clenched teeth, her patience wearing dangerously thin. She looked back through the window and saw a splash of familiar red hair weaving through the dense crowd. "Right now."

"No can do! If you'd really like, I could call up my girlfriend for ya, she's really a handful, but she's quick aaaas cheddar!" Flo responded, voice chirpy as a blue jay. Sia whipped her head around when she heard a rapid tapping on the passenger window.

"Jesus f-"

"Do not take the lord's name in vain!"

Sia let out a derisive snort and rolled down the window. "What do you want?"

"Nothing I uh," He ran a hand through his wild hair, "Are you okay, because you scared the living hell out of me back there." She rolled her eyes and snickered. Of course. Her breath smelled like weed and the circles under her eyes were even more prominent without makeup. Her smile everything sinister as she replied.

"I'd absolutely love it if you left me the fuck alone."

If she wasn't so cold, perhaps the look on his face would have tapped on her peach pit heart. All the sugary sweetness had long since rotted away, so his concern barely fazed her.

He noticed.

"I'm getting in," he deadpanned.

"There's no way in Hell you're-"

She was abruptly stopped by a shrill screech from the front seat.

"Oh sweetheart... a BOYFRIEEEEEEND??????"

"The only thing 'ending' should have been my life," the girl with aquamarine hair muttered under her breath.

"Oh I am definitely getting in now," he said, opening the passenger seat door and crawling on top of her.

"No- just- fUCK- get oFF ME BITCH!"

"I'M A DUDE????"

"OH YEAH, WELL YOU'D BE A SORRY EXCUSE FOR A GIRL ANYWAY. I APOLOGIZE!"

He paused for a moment. "Wait a second."

"You're sIA AREN'T YOU?"

"What of it, asshole?"

"Excuse me? Watch your language." He said, perfectly synchronized with Flo. They stared at each other for a second. Flo raised her hand slowly. Mr. Strawberry Blonde raised his hand slowly.

"Boom," he whispered as their palms connected.

"Did you guys just highfive- GET OFF ME."

"wELL I'M SORRY, I TOLD YOU I WAS COMING?"

"tHAT'S WHAT SHE SAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID," FLO SCREAMED.

"I honestly can't believe this is happening. Please, please if there's a god, get me the fuck out of here." Sia moaned, curling her hands around her knees and into a little ball.

"Oh thanks," he said as he moved around her small figure easily and plopped down on the seat farthest from her. "Where we off to?"

"My house; that is before you came inside the taxi..."

"Oh... uhh... how 'bout my house then?"

"Boy, I ain't about to get ra-"

"100 Barrow Street, please."

"I said-"

"Ahhh, true love..." Flo sighed, as she finally pulled out onto the busy road
