Last chapter~
Zelda looks over to the cooking pot, and then back to me, "But first, I need to eat. Care to join?"

"Of course!"

Me and Zelda skip over to the cooking pot, ready to make a meal.

Paya's P.O.V.~

After our meal, we didn't really know what to do. We sat on my bed and talked about random things. Like, what our favorite foods are, and our greatest fear, just random things.

I'm trying to ask the question I originally wanted to ask, but I can't, I'm to nervous. I know I said I wouldn't bother her, but it's not for the best to keep things tucked away in your heart. Especially for the Princess. She already has so many responsibilities.

Maybe I should just say it? I think if I muster up the confidence I had when I treated Zelda I'll do it. Probably.
I took a deep breath, aaaand...
"What happened at Zora's Domain?" I ask, bluntly.

"Ahh, you noticed?" She looks down at her legs, " I... forgave myself. In a sense." She looks at me, and smiles. A real, genuine smile.

"So don't worry, Paya. I'm okay." I smile without even realizing it. I can't believe she actually opened up to me. She didn't even hesitate.

The cicadas drown out the silence and the full moons rays shine through the windows.

Finally, I say something.

"Would you like to catch some fireflies?"  I ask.

"Fireflies? What for?"

"For fun, of course!" Zelda cocks her head to the side, still looking confused.

"Uhh, sure?" She says, hesitant.

I smile and grab her hand, run down the stairs and out the door. I heard grandmother call, "Bye." But I ignored it.

Sorry grandmother.

The night was peaceful and quiet. I felt like I ruled the whole world as we went around without a care. We caught a lot of fireflies, to many to count.

Soon enough Zelda realized what I meant, and she really was having fun.

The moon was enough light, and the freedom of the darkness made me feel invincible. But, we were getting tired, so we decided to go star gazing. We sprinted up the path that led to the ancient shrine, and plopped down on it, we didn't want to sit on the wet grass.

We released all the fireflies, and they shined like the stars as the surrounds us.

"Beautiful! I've never seen anything like it." Zelda says, in awe.

But, like all good things, they disappear.

After looking for constellations and admiring the beauty of the twinkling starts, I realized this was a perfect time.

"I want to confess something. Tell you a secret."  I say.

"What is it?" Princess Zelda asked curious.

"Well, I'm embarrassed, so I was wondering if we could confess something at the same time. But I mean if you don't-."'

"What do you mean?" I'm surprised she's interested.

"Uh, it will go like this, we both start saying, 'I confess to..' and then say whatever we want to confess. Makes sense?"

"Sure. Let's do it. I also have something I want to get of my chest."

"But remember, we cannot tell anyone."

"Alright. I give my word."

"I do, as well."

This was nerve wracking. What was she going to say? Would she make fun of me? The thought is killing me!!

We both sharply inhale,

"I confess to.. falling in love with Link."

"I confess to.. loving Link."

"WHAT?!" We both yell in unison.

Zelda looks at me surprised, and I look at her. It's silent for awhile, but soon enough Zelda starts to laugh, then I start to laugh. We both giggle at our childish emotions.

Zelda tries to catch her breath, and she says, "Well, that's quite a surprise, falling in love with the same man."
"Yes, but, who does L-L-Link love?"
Dear goddess, I though I had gotten over this wretched stuttering.

Zelda's P.O.V.

Paya is right. Does Link even have feelings for me? Did I take his worry the wrong way? Was he just doing his duty? Could it be? Does he have feelings for someone else?

"I don't... I don't know Paya." I say, in a worried tone.

"Princess, don't worry, I have no intention of being in a r-r-relationship with Ser Link." She says, with a sad but reassuring smile.

Honestly, I'm relieved. I know that's completely and utterly selfish, but he's my first love. It would hurt if someone was to be in a relationship with him.

Then how would Paya feel?
I can't betray her.
I suppose it's... forbidden.

I yawn as I realize how late it is.
"Well I suppose it's time for bed." I stand up and stretch out my arms, and lend Paya a hand. We walk down the path and back to Impas house.

"Time for bed?" Impa asks.

"Ahh, yes. It is quite late. Time flies by when your having fun." I reply.

"Glad to hear it." Impa smiles.

I giggle, and wave Impa goodnight. I head up stairs with Paya, and we snuggle up in her bed.

"Goodnight, Paya."

"Goodnight, Zelda."

I look up to the ceiling since there's no where else to stare.

I can't sleep.

Tried to make this chapter a bit longer, only 200+ more words than usual, but it's something.
