Matt's POV
After introducing ourselves and talking to them for a while I bring up their virginity. "So have either of you lost your virginity?"
Both of them look at me confused as it was a random question but then brush it off. "Well I have a girlfriend and so far we've been together for a year. Which makes me definitely not a virgin." Says Adam.
"Is she coming to the same college as you?" Asks Theo.
"Nah she wanted to study closer to home."
"Oh, so you both are trying the long distance relationship?"
"Yeah. Hope it doesn't fuck up."
"Yeah me too."
"What about you?" I ask Theo so we don't get sidetracked.
"Well, I'm a virgin." Never would I have thought.
I start laughing. "Oh come on mate, why?"
"Dunno, just haven't found the right person I guess."
"Does that even matter though?"
"To me it does."
I knit my brows in confusion. "Why?"
"I dunno, I want to save it for someone who I want to be with. I wouldn't dare give it away in a fling."
Adam joins in the conversation. "I agree with you mate, I only just lost mine with my current girlfriend."
"Well, nobody cares about who you lose it with but whether you've lost it or not." I say.
"I guess you have a point there," Adam replies.
"Yeah but that's pretty lame if you lose your virginity because you want to keep up with your friends or want to be popular or whatever." Says Theo.
It's pretty lame if you don't lose your virginity at this age actually.
"Yeah I didn't care about none of that otherwise I would've lost it way before than I did. I lost it to Jess, my girlfriend, nearly a year after we started dating all because I was checking to see if she's the right person and if I'd want to lose it to her." Adam adds on.
"Yeah, exactly that's what I'm waiting on."
"But don't you want to know how sex feels?" I question.
"I feel like it won't feel as good as you want it to be unless you do it to someone you seriously like," Theo replies.
Bloody hell no need to go so deep into it.
"Yeah, I guess so," I say.
"Anyways are you a virgin?" Theo asks me.
"Oh, no, lost mine a long time ago." That is a lie. All because my mother would never let me go out for more than 2 hours and if so I'd have to be escorted by the driver or some other random guy she would've hired. Which resulted in me not going out instead.
"Do you have a girlfriend?" Adam asks.
"Nope."
"Oh."
They both look at me as if they're judging me. Out of all the people my mother could've chosen to be my flatmates, why in the world did she choose these two guys?
"So it's getting quite late, have you guys ate yet?" I ask.
Theo replies. "Nah I haven't, have you Adam?"
"Nah."
"Let's eat out seen as though it's our first day," I say whilst getting up.
"Oh nice, do you know any good places?" Adam asks as he follows me.
