Matt's POV

It's Friday and I haven't spoken to Angela that much this week, I'd see her every now and again at lunch and greet her but without having a chance to properly talk.

Justin has gone home as he was too exhausted to stay in college. Angela, Austin, Alyssa, and I finish at 12 so we've decided to go out. We're going to come back at 3 to pick up Marc and Rowan said he'll meet us wherever we are at 4.

Austin parks his car outside a shopping centre then turn to us. "We have about 2 hours to kill, and I need a few things so we'll just spend our time here. Oh and remind me to get drinks on our way back."

"Alright sounds good." I reply.

"I need so many things." Angela with her newly dyed brown hair says as she looks around. "Oh let's go into there." She begins to rush into a clothes shop and starts looking at the clothes on display. It's so evident how much she loves shopping.

About 20 minutes later we're still in the same shop waiting for Angela to finish choosing clothes. This is exhausting and Austin feels it too as he has been swearing and complaining the entire time.

Angela finally says. "Ok Austin stop complaining I'll pay for these now."

"Thank fuck for that." He looks over to Alyssa who has nothing in her hands then his expression softens. "You sure you don't want anything? I thought you liked shopping."

"Yeah I do like it but I've got everything I need, thank you though."

He smiles at her then takes her hand. "Come on we'll wait outside as they pay."

I walk with Angela to the shopping counter. "Look at how quickly he changed when he spoke to Alyssa."

I laugh. "You're right. He does it all the time, even with me, I've noticed it."

"What do you mean?"

"He always argues with Rowan or says sly things to him but then when he turns to me it's like I'm speaking to a completely different person."

"I haven't noticed that. But Austin has told me that he gets triggered by Rowan because he feels as though he's always copying what he does to fit in with him or impress him. Whereas the rest of you have got your own personality and are yourselves."

"Hmm, I don't think I've noticed him to be like that."

"Yeah it's hard to see things like that." The shopping assistant nods at us as it's our turn to pay. Angela places her clothes on the counter and the lady begins to scan each piece of clothing. "Can you go and get Austin for me? I forgot to get my card."

"I'll pay for it."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, dont worry about it. Last thing he wants to do is return to this shop."

She smiles at me then I begin to pay. Afterwards we begin to look at many other shops until eventually we head back to the car. We return to college, pick up Marc then head into the park.

Shortly after Angela and I linger behind Austin, Alyssa and Marc. I decide now is a perfect time to ask her about the picture.

"Angela?"

"Yeah?"

"Why did you upload that photo? Was it because of Jasmine? It just seemed unexpected because I thought you wanted us to be a secret."

She squeezes my hand as she looks at me then sighs. "I knew this was coming and yeah it's true it was, at first, because of her. But then when I thought about it I realised that I should be showing you off to everyone, not keeping us a secret."
