13. Something new*

Matt's POV

After speaking to Rosie I realise why Theo is so into her, she's already chilled and relaxed with me as though we've known each other for a long time. She reminds me a bit of Jasmine, and I'm glad because at least I know that Theo isn't with a bitch.

The doorbell rings and excitement washes over me, Angela is here. I answer the door and see her smile at me. "Hey."

"Hi Angela, you good?"

She walks in then turns to me. "Yeah, thanks." Then she notices Theo with Rosie and smiles hesitantly. "Hi."

"Hey Angela, this is my girlfriend Rosie," Theo loves saying it.

Rosie waves at her with a smile. "Hi, girl."

Angela beams at them both. "Oh my god, I didn't know you had a girlfriend."

"That's because she became his girlfriend about an hour ago," I tell her.

She turns to me. "What? Really? I can't believe I missed it." She turns back to them. "Congratulations."

"Thank you." They both say laughing.

Angela faces me. "How about we make it official?"

Rosie gasps whilst I'm stuck in shock. "What?"

"Well, it's bound to happen one day so we might as well save the confusion and do it now."

She does have a point, but I don't think I'm ready for anything serious right now. I also don't want to embarrass Angela, and because of everything she's been through with Ryan and Austin, I should keep her happy.

I smile at her. "Yeah, I'm fine with that. Let's make it official."

Her face lights up more than Rosie's when Theo made it official with her. Then she jumps up to me for a hug. "Oh my god thank you."

"Wooo." Theo and Rosie begin clapping making Angela and I laugh.

They both stop clapping then Angela pulls herself away from me. "We should all go on a double date one day."

"Yes, that'll be amazing. I'd love to." Rosie faces Theo.

"Yeah, I don't mind, let us know when you both are free," Theo says after her.

"We will," Angela answers for me.

The door of another room opens and out comes Adam with his headphones on, when he sees Angela he takes them off. "Angela, hi."

"Adam what about me?" I state.

He nods at me then begins to walk into the kitchen. "Oh yeah you too, hey."

"Adam what about us?" Theo tells him.

He takes out a glass from the drawer. "I hear you, Theo, hey." He slowly turns to him, and when he notices Rosie he knits his brows together in confusion then he points at her "You came home with Theo last night didn't you?"

"She has a name," Theo says playfully.

"I know." Adam turns red as I'm guessing he's trying to remember her name. To give himself more time he fills up his glass with water then turns off the tap. "Rose?" Then he panics. "No, no, it's Rosie. Yeah, Rosie. How are you?"

She begins laughing along with the rest of us, "I'm good, thank you, how are you?"

"I'm good, just been busy trying to work. Otherwise, I would've come out of my room earlier." He begins drinking from his glass.

"Yeah well, you've missed a lot," Theo informs him.

He raises his brows. "What? What have I missed?"

"We've all made it official," Theo says with a smirk.
