Matt's POV

"Looks like right now all you can do is watch and learn," Austin says as he opens his packet along with the others doing the same. He then spills the white powder on the table in front of him and pulls out a card from his pocket to make a long line with the powder. After he's satisfied he begins to sniff his powder clean from the table. At the same time, Justin is lining his and then starts to snort it up.

I don't know how they do it, it looks so fucking uncomfortable, that's why I don't want to do it.

Marc gets up and pats me on the shoulder. "Come and see me do it." He walks away from the others to the kitchen and opens his packet then begins lining his powder with his card. Once it's in a perfectly straight line, with his card, he swipes all of the powder into the sink and then turns on the tap. "You don't want to be messing with any of this stuff Matt. Don't follow with what they do."

"Couldn't have you just told them no?" I ask.

"You're still learning, you can't say no to them, and otherwise he would've passed it to you, and I know you don't want to do this."

I wonder if he actually did have a bad day then or was that all just an act?

"But you moved to a different room to do drugs, wouldn't they catch on that you haven't taken it? And the sound of the tap is still running, they'll be thinking what's going on."

"You need to be cool-headed with things like this otherwise they'll know somethings up. The table in the kitchen is taller than the one in Austin's room, so I told them I prefer it. And I also told them that I want to drink water after I do it because I don't like the taste." He opens a drawer and takes out a small cup and fills it with water, then he turns off the tap, spills the water out of the cup and leaves it in the sink.

"I thought you did drugs though? They all believe you do."

Marc starts laughing. "I gave up drugs the moment I got addicted. They've just never caught on." He takes a bit of the powder left on the surface and sticks it under his nose. "We should go back now." He begins walking to the other room, with me following shortly behind.

We walk in finding Justin and Austin chatting away about random shit. Then Marc pats Justin's back. "Thanks for helping me out mate, this one felt better than everything else you've given us."

Austin begins speaking. "Yeah I noticed it too, this one is the best one."

"Me too, I guess my supplier is bringing out higher quality drugs." Justin joins in.

I'm stood there confused as hell, how did Marc manage to make up such a lie and still get the others believing it's true.

Austin turns to me. "Don't look so sad man, Justin will hook you up tonight with some of this good stuff."

"Yeah I know, thanks, man," I reply.

Justin narrows his eyes at Marc. "You missed a bit of powder there." He points under his nose.

"Where?" Marc asks as he starts touching his face until he finds the powder then starts brushing it off. "Oh yeah, thanks, bro."

Austin starts laughing. "You're so messy when taking drugs, how did Matt even see you properly?"

I start laughing too. "Trust me I was confused as fuck."

"Listen all you got to do is line up the powder like this." Justin gets his card and lines up imaginary powder. "Then snort it up, cleaning the surface spotless."

"Yeah, I got that part," I reply.

Justin makes a 1 with his hand. "And it doesn't need to be on a table. You can do it on a girl, I did it on Angela," Justin beams, clearly proud of himself.
