Scarrlet's P.O.V

I walked into the wood where I was supposed to meet Garroth. I waited for a couple of minutes. I heard someone walking this way. I decided to climb up into a tree for a surprise attack. Once I got into the tree I saw a pink haired meif'wa walking and picking flowers. I decided to scare her. But I would act like it was an accident. Ha! I'm so evil

I jumped out of the tree in front of her. Surprisingly, I landed super lightly. I looked up to see the girl staring at me shocked.

"H-hello! Kawaii~Chan's name is Kawaii~Chan! What's your name?" this Kawaii~Chan girl asked.

"Oh! My name is Scarrlet Williams. Daughter of the Lord of New Burrow. Soon to be the wife of the High Priest of Okasis Zane Ro'Meave," I told her.

"If Lady Scarrlet~Sama doesn't mind me asking, how old are you?" Kawaii~Chan asked

"I'm 17. And before you freak out, I am betrothed to him. We will be married once I am 18. I am almost 18. He has sent me here to train in combat with Sir Garroth so I can fight for myself if needed," I said.

"Oh, ok. Well, Sir Garroth should be here soon," Kawaii~Chan said.

"Thank you. Would you like to stay and chat until he gets here?" I asked.

"Sure, why not!" she exclaimed.

We sat talking for a little while. At 12 sharp he walked in. KC stood up and left back to the village. I stood up and walked over. He just smiled and drew his sword. I smirked and drew my sword as well. He looked shocked that I was holding it correctly. He swung at me and I stepped out of the way to dodge.

He turned to me but I struck. I grazed his arm. I then dropped my sword. He did too. We walked towards each other.

"Well, I see that you teach combat by doing combat. Smart. Have your students learn on the job," I said.

"Thanks. But, I thought you said you were sent here to learn how to fight. It looks to me like you already know how," he replied with a smirk.

"Zane sent me here to get better at fighting. He doesn't know that I have read so much about it, plus I watch all the guards at the guard academy train, so I've picked up on a few things," I told him.

"Well, let us continue," he said.

*Time skip to after training*

After training, we went back to the village. Along the way we talked.

"So, Garroth, where are you from?" I asked acting like I didn't know.

"I am originally from Okasis. My brother is your lover, Zane," he said.

"REALLY!!! Your THAT Garroth?!?!?!?!?" I said acting surprised.

"Yup, anyways. Tell me more about your family," he said.

"Okay, well My mother died when I was born. I am the youngest of 5. I have 4 older brothers. Their names are Zach, Gene, Marvin, and Dante. Yes, I know Dante is here. My brother Zach is going to be the new Lord of New Burrow. My brother Gene was Head Guard, but he died saving my life, as well as Dante's life. Marvin became the new head guard since Gene died. Hm, I'm 17. Dante is 18. Marvin is 20. Gene would be 22. And Zach is 25. My father is corrupt. I was originally betrothed to Vlyad, but you know what happened. After that, I became betrothed to Zane," I told him.

"Wow, thats a lot," he said in shock.

We ended up walking to my ship. I said good-bye and went back on the ship.

I went to my office, yes I have an office on my boat, anyways, I went to my office and sat at my desk. I lazily picked up one of my throwing knives and threw it at the target on my door. I missed. But! I only missed because Sir Kole opened the door.

"What do you need Sir Kole. As you can see I am doing target practice," I said

"I am sorry for interrupting you ma'am, but Lord Aphmau is here to speak with you," he replied nervously.

"Tell her I will be out in a moment," I said.

"Yes, ma'am!" he replied. He then walked out.

I had to quickly change into a dress that is in my office. It is black with a white lace back. The sleeves hung of the shoulder. The skirt goes down to the floor so I have to pick it up to walk. I changed out of my combat boots and put on some black heeled boots. I took my hair out of my ponytail and brushed it.

I walked out of my office. Sir Kole and Sir John joined me right when I walked out. I had to pick up my skirt or I would trip and die.

As I walked up to Lady Aphmau I saw that she was accompanied by Sir Garroth, Sir Laurence, and Dante.

"Lady Aphmau! To what do I owe this honor?" I asked all kindly.

"I was wondering if you would like to join me in a tour around town?" she asked with the biggest, brightest, most stupid grin EVER!!!!!

"Sure! I would love to! This way I could get to know you better!" I said happily.

"I agree! You can bring your guards if you would like. Come on!" she said. She then walked off the boat. Sir John handed me my cloak to keep me warmer since it was getting cold out.

I followed her off the ship. She showed me around. We then went to the front gates. I saw someone that I didn't expect to see here. Dante must have saw him as well because I felt him tense up beside me. I kept calm and just followed them up to the gates.

Aphmau walked over with her 3 guards following in suit. Dante and Laurence went onto the wall and pointed bows at him.

"State your business here or leave," Aphmau said.

"I am here to talk to the lord, and I am gussing that's you. You look like a woman of power," he told her.

"Very well," she turned to Garrtoth and had him open the gate. The guy came in and kissed Lady Aphmau's hand. She smile at him and said, "It is a pleasure to meet you sir, but I am afraid I have matters to attend to."

"It is quite all right, and the pleaser is mine," the guy replied trying to sound nice.

It seems that Lady Aphmau fell for it because she said, "No the pleasure is mine." She then turnrd to Dante and said, "Dante, would you please escort him to my house. And also escort Lady Scarrlet back to her ship?"

Dante sat there and thought for a moment. He turned to look at the guy. He turned back to Lady Aphmau and said . . .
