I jumped awake when  I felt someone touch my shoulder. "Whoa, Aleks calm down, it's just me." I looked to my side and saw Steven standing there. "You okay?"

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine. Sorry, I just got startled, usually I'm a heavy sleeper."

"It's okay, and, I know. Jake told me I'd probably have to push you to the ground to wake you up and I really didn't want to do that." Steven chuckles nervously.

I lean myself against the arm of the couch and look around. "Where is Jake?" I rub my left eye.

"He's getting ready like I should be."

        "Oh, oh okay."

"Well since you're up, I'm going to go get ready." Steven awkwardly smiled and walked away to head up the stairs.

I stretched and decided to just wait for Jake to come down before I ate so I won't be lonely. Today, I was going to spend the whole day with Magyk and I'm hoping nothing goes wrong. I mean, we're just spending the day together, nothing should go wrong. I got lost in my thought about spedning time with my boyfriend that I didn't notice Jake coming down the stairs until he said, "Hey Sasha, you're up!" He smiled at me and I did the same, stretching one more time before moving the blanket off my body and standing up. "How was your sleep?" Jake asked, both of us now heading toward the kitchen.

"Um... It was good. It was good. How was yours?" I answered, stepping into the kitchen first.

"It was good, slightly odd, but you know how they are." He slipped in next to me in front of the now opne pantry.

"Ah man, that must suck." I knew what he meant by 'odd', and honestly, I feel bad for him.  Jake told me that he's been getting these dreams that didn't make any sense. He said that they were like random scenes that would flash and mold together; like a flashback you'd see in a movie.

"Yeah, well... You'd think I'd be used to them by now, but I'm not." He pulled a box of Poptarts down from the high shelf and took two packets, handing one to me.

"You said it was different every night, right?" I asked, opening my packet and taking out one. Jake hummed in response and put the box back in its place. "Have you tried putting them together or-"

"Nope. They're too random. I tried but, it just makes all of it a bigger mess of confusion." Jake answers my question before I even finish. I just nodded, both of us awkwardly standing there, silently eating our food in peace.

An hour passes and I find myself standing in front of the huge red door at Magyk's house. I let out a shakey breath and bring my right hand to ring the doorbell. The elegant type sound echoed through the house and I patiently waited. The red door soon swung open, a man, looking to be in his thirties, appeared. He had the same hair color as Magyk, but blue eyes, and he was muscular. My eyes widened slightly before I cleared my throat.

"Who are you?" the man asked.

"I-uh, I'm Aleksandr. Aleks, maybe?" I added the last part when he looked at me oddly.

        "Aleks... Immortal." he said.

        "Y-yes sir." I nodded.

His facial expression completely changed into a smile. "Oh! Come on in! I'll call him down for you!" his voice was also very... upbeat. With that, he opened the door and waited for me to awkwardly step inside before closing the door. He kept his smile as he jogged to the steps and called, "Hey kid, get down here! Immortal's here!" he came back over to me and placed a hand on my shoulder. He kept his smile but his voice sounded immediately different as he said lowly, "Hurt him, I hurt you."
