A/N: This story will be in Aleks' point of view unless otherwise stated

I walked into my house and slammed the door behind me. Coming home from a bad day at high school isn't nice. "Aleks, is that you?" Mom called from the kitchen. "No, mom, I'm a robber!" I replied. I walked into the kitchen and saw her holding a large envelope in her hands. "Did you have a bad day at school today? Is that why you're all snappy?" Mom asked me. I just sighed and nodded, "Yeah, I'm sorry, mom." She hugged me and said, "It's okay," She pulled away and held up the envelope. "This will make you happy again." She handed me the letter and I looked at the return address. My eyes widened and I stared at it.

"Go on, Aleks, open it." Mom said, smiling. I nodded and opened the top of it slowly, watching out for the papers inside. I pulled out the packet and placed the envelope on the counter. "I'm going to read it out loud." I told Mom. She nodded and stared at me, waiting for me to start.

"Dear Aleks Vitaly, We have over looked your channel and have decided, after several debates with the board, to accept you into our school. You have barely reached the requirement of 100,000 subscribers. You have a total, as of today, of 99,998 subscribers. Like it states above, we have debated several times with the board. You are one of the lucky people we let in without reaching the requirement. Congratulations. WWGHSC is glad to have you aboard. See you Monday!"

I looked up from the letter at Mom and smiled big. She gave me a bone crushing hug and said, "I'm so proud of you!" I chuckled and hugged her back. When she pulled away, she kissed my forehead and I groaned, wiping it away. I flipped the page and saw a schedule, a map, and a letter talking about the school. "So, school Monday already! Are you excited?" Mom asked me, going back to stove and flipping whatever she was cooking. "Yeah, I guess. But that's only the weekend to get whatever I need..." I said, trailing off at the end.

"Well, the store is only a block away. Oh! Why don't you ask your father when he gets home if he could take you?" She suggested. I nodded and dragged my bag upstairs to my room. My dad and I are close. Closer than my mom and I are. I could tell him anything and he wouldn't get mad, or tell Mom if it would get me in trouble. He's also very accepting with things. I told him I wanted a tattoo last year, and he took me to go get one. He's the best dad I could ever have.

As soon as I threw my bag on my bed, I heard the front door open and close, followed by dad's voice call, "Hey Aleks, come down here! I got you something!" I went back down stairs and found dad setting his keys on the counter and giving mom a kiss. "What's up?" I asked. He smiled at me and placed a case on the floor in front of me. "Well, since you broke your old guitar a couple of weeks ago, I got you a new one!" He told me. My eyes widened and I opened the case slowly, revealing a brand new acoustic. "Oh my gosh, dad. Thank you so much!" I said, closing the case and smiling at him.

"You're welcome, kid. I saw this on the counter, by the way, are you going to tell me what the content was?" He asked, holding up the empty envelope. I stood up and grabbed the folded packet from my pocket, handing it to him. He took it and un-folded it, eyes scanning over the letter. He handed it back and said, "I'm proud, son! Good job on getting accepted in!" We high-fived, something we just started doing randomly one day, and I picked up the case. "Thanks. I'm gonna take this up to my room, then I'll be down for dinner." I told my parents. They both nodded and I did just that.

~time skip-Monday~

Dad pulled up to the school I stared at it in awe. It was huge! Two stories, only, but it was pretty large. "Okay, you have a fun day today, okay?" Dad asked as I got out and grabbed my bag from the back seat. I nodded and thanked him for driving me. He just smiled, nodded, and drove away. I put my bag on and walked into the school.
