A/N: the chapter's a little bipolar, just a heads up like seriously, bipolar as fuck. Like, Andrew bipolar. That's how bipolar this is. Yup. Continue~
"Aleks, honey! Get up! You have to get to school early today, remember?" I groaned as I heard my mom calling from down stairs. I sat up in my bed and looked over to my alarm clock. It read, 6:45 am. I sighed and slowly slipped off my bed and to the bathroom. I did my daily routine which consisted of showering, changing, and brushing my teeth. It was now 7:30. I grabbed my bag and walked down stairs to see my mom.
"Did you sleep well?" mom asked. No, I couldn't sleep because of all the fucking laughter I heard last night.
"Yeah." I answered. Mom nodded and turned to me from the stove.
"Well I'll take you to school. Let me just find a lid to put on here." She said, turning down the burner and looking around for a lid. I made my way to the front door and slipped on my shoes, waiting for mom to come over. Come on mom, please hurry...
"Oh Aleks, you'll never guess who's here." I heard mom call from the kitchen.
Don't you fucking dare tell me that he's here, I thought. Mom then came in with a sleepy looking male. His brown hair and glasses, along with his beanie, gave him away immediately before I could see his face. My eyes widened slightly and a smile started forming on my face slowly. The guy looked up at me with his bright smile and he gave a small wave. I took a few steps and almost literally jumped into his arms.
"I missed you too, Aleks." He laughed, hugging me back just as tight.
"Jakey!" I exclaimed, my cheeks starting to hurt from the smile I had across my face. We let go and did our handshake we've had since we were younger. We both laughed and I turned to my mom.
"What up here?" I asked her, raising an eyebrow slightly at her. She just smiled at me and turned to Jake.
"Well, Jake here asked if it was okay for him to stay here from now on. Something happened so we're taking him in." She said, smiling at me once more. I gave a puzzled look to Jake but he just gave me a 'I'll-tell-you-later' look. I nodded and looked back at mom.
"Wait...So, he's going to school with me now?" I asked, looking between her and my best friend. Jake looked at me and nodded once. I just stood there with a slightly opened mouth. My best friend from my old place was going to the same school as me now; and he was now living with us. Holy shit. This day is so far the best day ever.
Jinxed it.
~school~
I showed Jakey around school since it wasn't even the first free period yet. When we finished our small tour, I took him outside to the bench where I sat the previous day. We sat and I laid my head against his shoulder.
"You're gonna tell me what happened, right? I mean, we promised no secrets." I asked, staring at the grass beneath our feet.
"Yeah I will, don't worry. I'm surprised you remember that promise, by the way. That promise is old. We haven't really brought it up since we were like ten years old." He answered, chuckling towards the end. I laughed also and sighed in content, nodding at what he said. This was a nice day. Wanna know what's funny? He kinda helped me figure out who I really was; you know, gay and all. He was my first real crush in middle school. It was stupid, especially since he was strait, so I never told him about it. I heard the voices of other students coming outside from inside. I saw Pewdie and Cry walk over to a different bench and sit also, laughing at something.
Then, my mind clicked.
"Hey, Jakey?" I asked.
"Hey, Sasha? Heh. What?"
