I opened my eye's, I hated waking up in an unfamiliar room. It always made me feel so disorientated. I layed there for a few minutes, trying to wake up, looking out the big glass window. It looked liked rain.

I rolled over, Brian was still sleeping. I got up quietly and went in the bathroom and showered, when I came back out Brian was laying there, but he was awake.

"Good morning." I said smiling at him.

"Your up early." He looked grumpy, but he always looked grumpy in the morning.

"I was going to go out, look around, get some breakfast."

He sat up."Give me ten minutes and I'll join you."

He walked towards the bathroom. "Bri, it takes you twenty minutes to do your hair."

I laughed and he glared at me, slamming the door. He had no sense of humour when it came to his hair.

While he was in the shower I got ready and I waited til he was out so I could do my hair and such.

"Ready?' He asked.

I grabbed my bag and we caught the lift down to the lobby. Brian grabbed my hand as we walked out.

"Where are you two going?" Matt asked, he was walking back inside.

"Breakfast, look around." Brian told him. "You wanna come?"

"I might catch up later." He said winking at me.

Whatever, I thought.

Brian and I walked until we found a nice little place to have something to eat, we ordered and chatted, about stupid stuff really but as usual he made me laugh.

"What now?" I asked as we finished.

"Let's just walk."

So we walked and looked around, I always enjoyed spending time with Brian, he was one of the few people I could relax around and be myself.

We went into a shop and Brian found a shirt he wanted, he tried it on.

"Well?" He asked me.

It looked fabulous, honestly everything he wore looked fabulous. I often wondered why he didn't have a girlfriend, I mean girls literally threw themselves at him and you only had to get on any form of social media to know the ladies were crazy about him. I must remember to ask him.

"Get it."I smiled.

He did and as we left the shop my phone went off, I checked it, it was from Matt.

You need to lose him so you and I can hang out .

Hang out? Is that what he was calling it this week.

I shoved my phone back in bag and glanced up at Brian, he was looking at me with his eyebrows raised.

I was about to ask him what when a big fat rain drop splattered on my head.

"Oh shit." I said.

Brian was still just standing there looking at me when it just started pouring down, there was no point running, we were instantly soaked anyway.

"Why Em?" He asked suddenly.

Oh god, I didn't want to have this conversation with him, not here, not in the rain, not ever.

I opened my mouth and quickly closed it again.

"Fuck." He said, reaching out and pulling me into his embrace.

I buried my face in his chest, and we just stood there while the rain fell on us.
