Too Innocent ~ Jeongchan

Chpt. 3

   "C-can I help you?" Jeongin asked with a slight sense of fear in his eyes. He knew this was the good-looking male from earlier. The one that scared him with his harsh tone of voice. Jeongin looked at him again to see how...nervous the boy looked? Yet somehow he still managed to look so handsome, which made Jeongin blush just looking at him.

   "U-uh, yeah actually. I wanted to apology for my harsh words earlier. I was in a bad mood, I shouldn't have taken it out on you, I'm sorry..." the other boy trailed off as Jeongin realized he had never learned the boy's name and the boy never learned his.

   "J-Jeongin! Yang Jeongin, a-and you?" He said, making his blush deepen.

   "Christopher Bang, or well, Bang Chan now. Either way, I'm sorry for earlier. I'll see you around, yeah?"

   "Y-yeah! Bye Chan!" Jeongin said, digging his nails into his arm at how foolish his stutter was.

   The boy Jeongin now knew as Chan turned away and walked to a small group of friends. That's when the small, fluffy boy realized his friends were still behind him. He slowly turned around with a shy grin to see a 4 smirking boys he called his friends.

   "Care to explain, Innie?" Felix asked.

   "Well, uh, you see, I kinda ran into him this morning and he yelled at me and he wanted to apologize." The youngest said as he played with his sweater paws.

   "Wait, why did he yell at you? Just for bumping into you?" His squirrel-like friend, Jisung asked.

   "No, I kindamaybesorta kept staring at him cause hes absolutely breathtaking." Jeongin said as he scrunched up his face cutely.

   "Awee, our baby Innie has a crush!!" Seungmin said, jumping up and down.

   "Shh!! N-no I don't Seungmin!!" Jeongin said as he blushed again.

   "Wait, what's his name again? He looks oddly familiar." Hyunjin asked skeptically as he stared at 'Chan' and his friends.

   "Bang Chan, at least, that's what he said." Jeongin said as he shuffled to hug Felix. He just really wanted a hug.

   "Jeongin, baby," Hyunjin said, being very cautious with his words with what he was about to explain, "do you know who he is?"

   Jeongin shook his head and tilted it to the side, making Felix coo and ruffle his hair. Jeongin just pouted and looked expectantly at Hyunjin to finish.

   "Innie do you remember the boy that, uh, hurt himself really bad last year?"

   Jeongin tried to think. He couldn't remember. He tried thinking back to last year and any gossip he heard, and that's when it hit him. Chan was the one that tried to kill himself last year.

   "W-wait that's h-him?!?" Jeongin said with surprise and worry in his voice.

   "Yes baby, that's him." Felix said as he wrapped his arms tighter around the younger.

   "B-but why?" Jeongin said with tears forming in his eyes.

   "No one knows, Jeonginnie." Jisung said in a hushed voice.

   "I-i wanna help him! I'm gonna help him!

   "I don't think that's the best idea, sweetheart. He could hurt you." Seungmin stated.

   "I d-dont care I w-wanna help him!! L-lixie what do you think?" Jeongin looked up at Felix with wide eyes and a hopeful look.

   "I think you can, as long as you're careful when you do it." Felix said with a small smile.

   The other boys just nodded and agreed.

   Jeongin was so lucky to have his friends. He loved them all so much.

   "Hey guys?"
 
    "Yeah Innie?"

    "I love you."

    "We love you too."

   And with that, they all hugged. As soon as they pulled apart, the bell rang to start class. They all walked to their lockers, which were all right next to each other, as they had been assigned over summer. Coincidentally enough, Felix and Jeongin ended up sharing one. The five boys continued to talk and giggle as they decorated their lockers with the next 10 minutes they had before class.

   They were too busy talking to realize Chan and his friend got a locker right next to theirs.

   This was the start of a new life for the two.
