Spaceballs had just reached the part where Dark Helmet and his men were combing the desert and everything was going well between the 10 boys. Minho had Jisung in his lap on a beanbag, Seungmin was between Hyunmin legs on another beanbag, and on the third were Felix and Changbin curled up in a ball together. On the loveseat were Woojin and Jinwoo who were sitting beside each other holding hands, resting their heads on each other. Last but not least, Jeongin sat in Chan's lap as Chan leaned against the arm of the couch, legs out on the rest of the couch.
The boys were giggling at one of the jokes from the movie when the room went complicated dark and a loud clap of thunder was heard in the room.
Jeongin screamed and buried his head into Chan, Jisung whimpered and started to tear up, Seungmin's breathing became ragged, Felix grabbed tighter onto Changbin, and Woojin squeezed Jinwoo's hand as he grabbed his phone to turn his flashlight on.
"W-when did it start storming?" Minho asked as he played with Jisung's hair to calm him down.
"I'm not sure, but we need candles. Innie are there any down here?" Woojin asked. Jeongin simply pointed to a large cabinet without looking up. Woojin nodded and stood, but stumbled back when another large clap of thunder was heard.
Jeongin whimpered and sniffled as he hugged Chan tighter. Chan noticed how scared the boy really was and decided to use words instead of actions to calm him down.
"Hey, baby, listen to me. The storm cant hurt you, prince, okay? We're gonna get some candles lit so we can see and then everything will be okay. I'm right here, my beautiful prince," Chan whispered into the boy's ear as he rubbed small circles into the boy's back. Jeongin just nodded and started to calm down.
"Th-thanks Channie. It's really only the dark I'm afraid of," Jeongin mumbled.
Woojin and Jinwoo set the candles they found down onto the table and lit them. The room brightened up a little bit and all of the boys calmed down a bit. For a while, only thunder and comforting whispers were heard until everybody calmed down. Then Felix spoke up.
"How about we tell scary stories? We have the right atmosphere! And sure, we might not be mentally stable, but it'll be fun!" All of the boys looked at him with confusion. Why would he say that right after most of the boys had panic attacks?
"Lix, I dont think that's a good idea," Hyunjin said.
"Why not? It'll be fun! It's not like they're true!" Felix countered back. All of the boys looked around and shrugged in agreement.
"Are you sure, baby?" Chan whispered.
"Mhm, I actually really like scary stories!" The smaller said cutely. Chan could've sworn his heart melted.
But Jeongin really did love scary stories. He didn't like scary movies, but scary stories were different since he could imagine them any way he wanted.
"Alright, who wants to go first?" Jinwoo asked. Minho raised his hand.
"I've got one!" Minho said. He sat up and sat Jisung down onto his lap in a more comfortable position for the both of them. "Alright, so this one happened back in 2006. There was a group of four friends: Max, Caroline, Jackson, and Katie. It was Halloween night, and they were all walking around some bare streets to get home from a party. They got bored and decided to play truth or dare. All of the dates were only slightly scary, nothing too serious. But then Katie chose dare, and it just so happened that she chose dare right as they were passing by the cemetery.
"Jackson dared Katie to go and put a pocket knife beside a grave and then come back. He gave her the scariest dare since she had earlier claimed that she wasnt scared of anything. So she grabbed the knife and walked over to a grave, stumbling a bit as it had just gotten dark. When she made it to the grave they instructed her to go to, she bent down and stuck the knife into the ground, pushing it all the way to the hilt. When she turned away to walk back, she felt a tug on her dress. She tried to pull but whatever had a hold of her wouldnt let go. She screamed that she was sorry for disturbing the peace of whoever's grave it was and that she was sorry as she tried to pull her dress free. She tried to run one last time, but instead fell to the ground dead.
