Two weeks passed by and I tried my hardest to convince Mariana to stop seeing her birth mother. If she does again, I'm gonna tell moms. But right now were all focused on her quinceañera. This is when Callie and I almost had our first kiss.

Being part of Mariana's court, we have to go to this dancing class, which I can't wait for. I remember it like it was yesterday, it was the first time I looked into Callie's eyes and truly realized how beautiful she is.

As for Callie and I, we have been spending a lot more time together. I gave her my guitar and she won't stop thanking me. And we even had our first little jam session.

My mom talked to me about how foster siblings aren't allowed to date. And I told her I didn't like Callie. What a huge lie that is.

I read Callie's journal, without her knowing, of course. They had to write about guilt and it was mainly about Liam but there was a part about me, which is something I definitely did not know. She wrote about how she thinks she could be falling for me and that she's scared that I might hurt her like Liam did. But I never will.

I was messing around with my keyboard when there was a knock on the door. I turned around to see Lena standing in the door way.

"Hey Brandon, is it okay that you and Callie are paired up for Mariana's quinceañera?" She walked into my room.

I sat facing her, "Uh, yeah, it's fine.. Why wouldn't it be?"

"Well, she just got here and-"

"Lena?" Callie says from the doorway.

She turns around, "Yeah, Callie?"

"Stef needs you downstairs."

Lena left the room as Callie walked in.

"You don't.. you don't have to be paired up with me if-"

I stood up, "I want to be, Callie." I pushed a piece of hair behind her ear, "I really want to."

She smiled but forced herself back and left without saying a word.

We left for dance class about an hour later. Callie hasn't talked to me since I told her I wanted to be paired with her. I drove with her sitting in the passenger's seat. I put my hand on her knee for comfort after I looked to make sure Jesus, Mariana and Lexi weren't paying attention. She looked down at her knee then look up at me and smiled. I loved smiling her beautiful smile.

We got to to dance studio and Mariana's friend, Sam was already there. Once the lesson started, Callie and I were called up first. I didn't hear a word the instructor said because I was too focused on Callie. I put my hand on the small of her back and took her hand in my hand.

"You really know you're stuff, don't you?" She whispered so the instructor wouldn't hear her.

"I've done this before." I smiled at her and we began to practice the dance.

---

"Callie Jacob and Brandon Foster!" I heard everyone cheering and clapping from the hallway we were standing in.

"Here we go." She giggled as she wrapped her arm in mine.

We started walking down the runaway, which we didn't do before. Talya threatened Callie last time but she's not here which makes tonight even better.

After we performed our dance, the party went back to normal. People were dancing and eating and having a good time.

I walked over to the table where Callie was sitting with Jude, "Would you like to dance?"

She smiled and looked up at me, "I'd love to."

"Actually, I was talking to Jude but if you'd like to join us.." I joke and I see Jude crack a smile.

"You two go ahead. I'm a little tired." Jude looked at Callie as she walked over to me.

"Are you sure, Jude?" Callie was more asking if it's okay that we dance together.

"Yeah, have fun!"

We went on to the dance floor and spend the whole time laughing at each others dance moves. Mariana spotted us and came to dance with us.

"You look beautiful, Mariana!" Callie yelled over the music.

Mariana did look very nice in her pink dress and tiara but Callie looked remarkable. Her dress fit her body perfectly and made her curves stick out, beautifully. Her hair laid on her shoulder, just waiting for me to run my hands through it.

I had enough of just staring at her, I need to make my move. I took her hand and pulled her outside.

"Callie, we need to talk." I said once we were outside the building. We started to walk along the beach. She left her heels on the pavement.

"I need to talk to you about something too." She needed to tell me something? "But you can go first."

"Callie, I don't know what's happening here but I've done this all before." I looked over at her, "I know this sounds weird but I know everything that's gonna happen."

She raised her eyebrows at me, she obviously didn't expect that, "What-"

"For some reason, I'm reliving this all. I know all about everything that's gonna happen in the next couple months."

She stayed quiets for awhile, looking at the ground, "That's how you know everything about me."

"And I know so much more." I stopped her from walking and I faced her, "I know about Donald and all the things that happened in your old foster homes and.. I know about Liam."

I looked into her glossy eyes as she tried to get rid of her tears. Just mentioning his name makes her want to cry.

"And I promise, Callie. I promise I am nothing like him. I would never hurt you." I took her hand in mine, "And I know for a fact that you have feelings for me, too."

Callie tried to pull away but I wouldn't like her, "Callie, I promise.."

She looked so vulnerable with tears running down her face. I pulled her in and wrapped my arms around her waist as her arms went around my neck. Her warm breath hitting my neck sent shivers down my spine.

She pulled away to look at me and I was about to say something when she brought her soft lips to mine. I was taken back but I kissed back and brought my hands to the small of her back. The kiss got more heated as her hands pulled at my hair. I felt her smile into the kiss and my cheeks flushed at the fact that I made her smile. I pulled my lips away and I pressed my forehead to hers. Her eyes were closed and she was smiling. I loved the fact I made her feel this way.

"It's not like your moms are keeping me anyway." Her eyes were still closed.

I didn't say anything. I can't tell her that my moms are going to want to adopt her and Jude. I know I'm being selfish but this is my second chance and I can't blow this. We can make it work.

She cupped my face with her hands and kissed me yet again. After that her hands went up to my hair again.

"Callie?" We broke apart and looked to see Wyatt standing a couple feet away from us.
