Loneliness
Extend your arm into the bittersweet realm of friendship, is anyone there?
Though you may think there is now, there isn't,
you are alone,
stranded with the somber light of the moon sinisterly mocking you.
Call out, do you hear anyone?
As the gentle but harsh feeling of loneliness sweeps over your entire body, starting in your stomach, beats and thumps uncontrollably.
Solitude can be your best friend or your worst enemy, maybe both.
Distract yourself or try but nothing can change the bitter facts,
the fact that you are all alone and the fact that no one's there.
Go to sleep, at least you have friends in your dreams.
But never forget to wake up and face the beast called Loneliness.
