Put on your mask and possibly a dress
Do not let them recognise your distress
They shouldn't be able to guess your mind
They ask you if you're good, you say you're fine
Everyone else is doing the same
It really is quite a shame
You look at them and see their masks
You look at you and see your cracks
What if we were a little more open?
Life would be a little more dystopian
For one person would break the loop
They would put on a dress with a hoop
They would all hear what she said
And wear their masks to bed
At home
At work
Outside
There's always a mask
You can't hide
