It's comical how acquaintances look at you sympathetically while you mope
And your 'friends' pat you on the back with a cotton-tipped knife
It's comical how when whispers start to sound like screams
Much can be understood from "You see what I mean?"
It's comical how eyerolls can be translated into a newly turned appostate
And annoyed looks can show changed sides
It's comical how she watches wistfully as her bosom buddies turn into backbiters
And it's comical how she pretends it's comical
