Brewing a CATastrophe [Yoonmin AU]

Chapter 4

Walking towards the double doors of the study room, Yoongi was thinking about what potion they could potentially make and sell. Perhaps a growth potion? How about a luck potion? Yoongi was good at making those.

Yoongi had entered the study room and headed straight for the bookshelves, in search for a potion book. It wasn't a surprise to Yoongi that Namjoon had a whole bookshelf only for those types of books. Namjoon was always the one who wanted to extend his knowledge further and further.

Flipping through a book he had picked out, Yoongi found some potions he thought were interesting. There was a healing potion (he doesn't think it will take longer to make.) Yoongi also came across a potion that made you stronger. There were many other potions that the boy had considered making. Yoongi decided to mark which ones he thought were interesting. It the end, he ended up marking almost the whole book.

Namjoon walked into the room, finding Jimin pushing one of the bottles on the table. The younger witch rushed over to take it from the cat, but Jimin saw it coming and pushed the bottle somewhere away from the edge. Namjoon, relieved that it won't fall off, made his way to the older witch, who was lounging on one of the chairs, deep into the book.

"Yoongi hyung, did you find a potion we could do?" Namjoon asked, sitting across the chair Yoongi was in.

Yoongi looked up at Namjoon with a gleam in his eyes. "I don't have only one potion, I have many potions we could make!"

"Oh dear this is going to take a long time..."

Yoongi and Namjoon were going through the potions that former had marked.

"What about this one?" Namjoon asked. " We could make a potion that makes you stronger for a period of time."

Yoongi looks at the description of the potion and its recipe. "Sure why not. It doesn't seem too complicated anyways. Well, not complicated for me at least."

Namjoon shakes his head,"Potions was always your strongest point, Yoongi. Let's look at the ingredients to make it!"

Namjoon and Yoongi flipped to the ingredients section and started to read them. "Hmm, water -- duh --, honey, beetroots, pearl dust --we can get that from my store--, blah blah, and more blah blah. OH and . . . crab."

Once Yoongi had read the word crab, he slowly looked over to Namjoon, who had frozen in his place. His face displayed a hurt expression. Namjoon looked over to the other witch, immediately filled with the need to protest.

"Yoongi! We can't make that potion! It involves crabs! C R A B S AKA MY BABIES! WE CANNOT DO THAT ONE, I WILL NOT ALLOW IT!" Namjoon exclaims with determination to not make the potion.

Yoongi was surprised at Namjoon's reaction. "Fine fine, we won't do it. Maybe a transformation potion instead? It doesn't require crabs... I think."

Namjoon takes the book from Yoongi's possession. "Hmm, sure I suppose. How about we go get the supplies from your shop and come back here after?"

"That works with me. I might have to leave Jimin here, is that fine with you?"

"Mhm! As long as Jimin doesn't get out of the house, he is safe here."

Yoongi walks over to Jimin and pets his head. "I'm sure Jimin won't escape, right?"

Jimin meows.
