Brewing a CATastrophe [Yoonmin AU]

Chapter 6

Yoongi and Namjoon started to add the ingredients into the cauldron. They added all kinds of things required for the transformation potion. Lacewing flies, pearl dust, leeches, you name it.

While all that was happening, Jimin had already finished his food. The cat was bored so he went to go to the study room, where the brewing was happening. Once he got there, the two witches were engrossed in their work, so they didn't notice Jimin had entered.

Earlier, Jimin had entered into here and explored every nook and cranny of the room. The cat would go outside but Yoongi would be against that. He was afraid Jimin would not come back to him and wander off to who knows where.

Now, Jimin just went to the chair that Namjoon had placed in the room and sat on the chair. His black eyes were analyzing what the witches were doing. Whether it was to watch out for them or to learn from them we won't know.

A few more minutes passed until Yoongi had noticed Jimin was staring at them. He went over to the cat and scratched Jimin's head.

"Hey Jiminie, I didn't see you here. When did you even come in?"

Jimin meowed.

"A few minutes ago right? I hope you finished the food i gave you. Did you like it?"

Jimin nuzzled Yoongi's hand with his head.

"I assume that's a yes. I'm going to keep brewing with Namjoon."

Yoongi went back over to Namjoon and the two went back to making the transformation potions.

After 10 minutes, Namjoon and Yoongi finished their first bottle. The bottle wasn't too small nor was it too big. The amount inside was enough for the person to stay in that transformation for a day.

They had yet to test it out but assumed that it worked anyways. The two witches kept on brewing more potions, getting faster the more they made.

After around 51 potions, Yoongi and Namjoon decided to take a small break. It had been 3 hours since they started.

Namjoon had gone to go wash his hands and came back into the room. " Hyung, we are going to take a break before finishing the rest of the potions ok?"

Yoongi put his bottle down, " That works for me. I'm going to sleep for a bit."

"Ok. I'm going to go to the beach and find some crabs!"

Yoongi shakes his head, "As expected of you. Have fun."

"Ok, I will Yoongi hyung."

The witches then went on to do their choice of activity. Yoongi went off to find a place to sleep while Namjoon went down to the beach to find some crabs. That left only one person in the study room. The witches forgot Jimin was with them, so they didn't pay attention once they went to take a break. It seems Jimin has some time to do some fun before they come back.

Just as the cat was kind, Jimin was also mischievous. Since the witches had left, Jimin had time for himself as well. Not that he already had time to himself this whole time, but you get it.

Jimin decided to see what Namjoon and Yoongi were doing. He left the study room to try and find them. After searching for a few minutes, Jimin had found Yoongi sleeping in Namjoon's room. Why? It was simply because he had a comfy bed. In Yoongi's opinion, the guest room bed was a bit less comfy than Namjoon's.

Now that Jimin knew where Yoongi was, he assumed Namjoon wasn't in the house because he couldn't find him anywhere. Jimin went back to the study room to see what they had done. Once he got inside, he immediately went over to the brewing area where all the materials were.

Even if Jimin had watched Yoongi make potions countless of times, it doesn't mean that he knew how to. He couldn't read the instructions nor handle the ingredients. Plus he was a cat, so how was he supposed to make them?

Jimin jumped onto the table where everything was. There were bottles that were yet to be filled. The potions book was laid open on the instructions page. There were some liquid stains on that page as well; they probably had water on their hands or something. On the table, there was also some bottles yet to be closed and put into a box.

Jimin went towards those bottles, sniffing the contents that resided in them. The potions' aroma had a mix of a light hint of honey, ocean, and some oranges thrown in. It was a confusing scent to Jimin so he left it alone. The cat kept on exploring the table, eventually getting bored of it and jumping off. Jimin proceeded to run around the table, occasionally bumping into the table leg and spilling some stuff on his head.

After an hour or so, Yoongi and Namjoon had come back from their breaks. Namjoon had to go search for Yoongi and found him in his room.

"Why were you even sleeping in there?"

Yoongi shrugs, "Cuz the bed in your room comfier than the guest room."

Namjoon sighs. "What do I even do with you?"

"You should let me sleep in your room."

"You already did that!"

"Let me do it again."
