EXO’s fans have proven their enthusiasm to become members of the band’s official fan club.

The fans’ enthusiasm can bee seen from the increasing number of fan club members. In just three days since it was officially opened on August 5, approximately 814 thousand fans have joined the club.

Due to their enthusiasm, SM Entertainment has to cancel EXO’s live chat because the website continues to crash due to many fans who visit the site at the same time.

“We deeply apologize for not allowing smooth access in terms of service for joining the fan club. Due to the large number of users accessing concurrently, we are still having difficulties in allowing fans to join the fan club,” the agency wrote.

The number of fans who want to join may possibly continue to rise, bearing in mind many fans have complained that they could not enter the website because its server is still not stable yet.

EXO L has become the agency’s first artist fan club that opens registration for international membership.Previously, the membership was merely for fans who live in South Korea.

SM Entertainment recently announced the official name of their fan club, EXO-L. They chose EXO-L as the fandom name because the letter L is the middle letter between EXO K and EXO M. The official website is expected to bring the band and their fans from across the world closer.

Fans can join on EXO L official websites and register for free.
