"I love you," were the last words whispered at me as Solange slammed the door closed on me and most probably on our friendship. To say I was stunned would have been an understatement. Something inside me wanted to jump up and down because she loves me, yet I couldn't help but cringe at the word. The way she said it made my insides ache. I had the urge to run after her and explain what had happened, but I fought it because I don't even know what is going on. Sitting on my bed I feel like I'm drowning. Why? That's what I would like to know. I don't know how it all started; maybe it was all just a game at first, but now? The pain inside my chest is becoming unbearable.
