Investigation Situation

Ridley O'Bannon paced back and forth aboard Global One. She hoped Marion was alright. What had happened after she'd put the phone down? Marion had taken on the Chaos Crew single-handedly. The odds would've been against her. Why hadn't she have called back? Something must've happened to her. But nobody had informed her of anything. Deciding to take matters into her own hands, Ridley tapped a few buttons on the holo-screen and within seconds she'd hacked into the CCTV cameras in Marion's lab. Being a member of the GDF herself, it was surprisingly easy as she knew all the passwords. Finally reaching the CCTV log, Ridley checked the entries for the time she was on the phone with Marion. She started watching, starting from when they were on the phone. Her eyes widened with horror as Fuse shoved a canister of sleeping gas in Marion's face, knocking her out. They then high-fived and Havoc dragged the unconscious body across the floor. This was despicable. One of the GDF's own members had been kidnapped and they were keeping it under wraps because it would make them look like incompetent idiots. (which they are but that ain't the point!) She had to tell someone. So she phoned her other best friend. John Tracy.
"Hey, Ridley. What's up? Wanna play handball?"
"John, this is serious. Marion's been kidnapped by the Chaos Crew."
John was silent. "Ok, breathe. Calm down. Who's Marion?"
"Marion Van Arkel. She's a GDF nuclear scientist...."
"The same Marion Van Arkel we rescued from the uranium mine in South Africa?"
"Yeah, her. Sorry, forgot that you know her."
"I'll patch you through to Tracy Island. We have a situation."

"I appreciate your concern, John, but the GDF has the situation entirely under control. If Marion Van Arkel really has been 'kidnapped by the Chaos Crew', we'll find her." Colonel Casey's hologam beeped signaling she'd left.
"So... let me get this straight. A member of the GDF has been kidnapped by the very people they're trying to catch?" Kayo frowned. She, Alan, Scott, Virgil, Gordon and Brains were sat in the lounge whilst John, Ridley and Lady Penelope were there in hologram form. 
Ridley nodded.  "I know right? And, worst of all, they're refusing to admit to it!"
Alan snorted. "That's low, even by their standards." He had his arm around Kayo as they were sat together on the sofa.
Virgil grimaced. "If the GDF couldn't stop her from getting kidnapped, they have no chance of rescuing her. It's up to us."
Everybody looked at Scott. "What?"
Kayo cleared her throat. "Well, you're usually against us running around fighting crime."
Scott sighed. "This time, it's an exception."
John nodded. "Me, EOS, Brains and Ridley will try to track down where Marion went. Lady Penelope, you and Parker check any old hideouts associated with the Hood." Lady Penelope nodded.
"Can I come?" Gordon piped up.
John smirked devilishly. "Sure, the more the merrier."
"Does he have to?" Lady Penelope complained.
John ignored her. "Kayo, Alan, you guys go check out Marion's lab to see if there are any clues."
"Th-Thunderbird Sh-Shadow h-has b-been upgraded to have two seats so you'll be able to go in that." Brains added.
"We're on it." Kayo replied as she and Alan high-fived.
"Scott, Virgil, you two deal with all the other rescues. There aren't that many today so between you so you should be able to handle it."
"F.A.B." Scott replied. "Thunderbirds are go!"
As soon as everyone else had left, Virgil turned to Scott. "What's going on with  you?"
"What?"
"Usually you're against us fighting crime and stuff. You say that's the GDF job."
Scott sighed and put his head in his hands. "I got Marion that job with the GDF. It's my fault she's been kidnapped."
Virgil put his arm around him in a brotherly fashion. "Hey, it's not your fault. You got her a job where she was happy, and yes, she was kidnapped, but she was on the Hood's hit list anyways so the GDF was probably the safest place."
Scott sighed again. "Thanks Virge."
"No problem."

I haven't really changed much this chapter but I've added Colonel Casey's reaction.
