Chapter 14

    Everything was normal. Sort of Camila still hasn't fully accepted even after all this time she still loves Mama and well Mama doesn’t know what she felt. After the kiss we got into a uber and headed to the nearest hotel got a room and she cried. I held my mama while she cried I don’t think any other teen would be able to say that. She cried because she was scared, she was scared that she Camila would hurt her again. I don’t blame her actually. She did end up calling Ashley aka Halsey and she helped her talk through it. We were heading back to Camila’s room. Mama said they had to “talk things out” hopefully their are going to get back together.

“Chloe, Jaliyah can you give us a moment please.” Camila said. We nodded and I put earbuds in so Chloe and I can watch netflix and by that I mean eavesdrop into their conversation.

“So what does this mean now?” Mama asked I can literally hear the nervousness in her voice.

“Lauren honestly I have no idea but whatever we do. I don’t want to hurt you. Not again, not when your finally happy. I don’t want to be the reason why you can’t move on.” Camila said

“That’s the thing I’m terrified of even stepping into a relationship again because I don’t think I could handle that. Maybe we could just start over again you know like we are in fifth harmony again.” Mama reasoned and Camila laughed. “But ya know now we have 2 kids and we can co-parent.” She added and Camila nodded and smiled.

“The only thing was that in the group I had a massive crush on you and I always wanted to be around you. You had a strong effect on little ole 15 year old me.” She said and mama just nodded. “You still have a big effect on 25 year old me so I guess nothing’s changed.” Camila said trying to flirt but Mama was visibly uncomfortable with it. “I’m sorry I shouldn’t have- I know you said-” Camila was stuttering terribly but mama held her face.

“Their gonna kiss again.” Chloe whispered.

“It’s fine Camila. Just slow down okay.” Mama said. She sounded so fragile. Like some simple words could just break her heart even more than it already was. It was a terrible sight to see. No one should ever see their mother in that position. There was a knock on the door and everyone looked confused.

“It’s probably the chinese that I ordered.” Mama said and went and paid for the food.

“Can we watch a movie. Together?” Chloe asked softly.

“Yes watch movie should we watch?” Camila asked and we all sat and thought for a moment.

“Scary!” Mama and I yelled together

“Disney!” Camila and Chloe yelled.

“Fine we will watch disney movies. Tonight.” Mama agreed.

“But I don’t want to watch Disney.” I complained. Honestly since Chloe and Camila left mama and I watch scary movies all the time.

“Yeah we’ll Chloe is too young for scary movies and I hate scary movies.” Camila explained and I pouted.

“Come here.” She said and I looked up and seen her holding her arm out so we could cuddle. I smiled grabbed my food and laid with Camila while Chloe laid with Mama. We haven't done this in so long and honestly it felt so good.
