IV

We pulled up to a huge mansion in a rich neighborhood.

"Damn, Stokeley's friends got money.I hope he brought Jahseh's fine ass, I'm looking for some good loving and he look like he could give it to me right."Maria said, seductively.
"Shut your horny ass up.Let's hope that Isaiah is here, though, because - he was looking right in class today."Laila said, grinding in her seat.
"Both of y'all are way too horny, shush.Let's go inside & enjoy this party."

We walked in and it was even more beautiful.

Everyone was having a great time and talking amongst themselves.

I looked around until I saw Stokeley with the rest of the guys.I grabbed Maria and Laila's hands and walked over to them.I saw the boys instantly start smiling when they saw us.

"Hey, Summer."Stokeley got up and hugged me.He smelled like Axe and weed mixed together, but it was a pleasant aroma.
"Hey, Stokes."I looked up at him and smiled.He looked so good right now.I looked away before I got stuck in my trance again.I looked at Maria and Laila and they looked so happy with Jahseh and Isaiah.I smiled at them and then looked down.

"Come on, let me get you a drink."Stokeley guided me through the house and into the kitchen.

He poured me some vodka and some raspberry Minute Maid.After about 3 cups, I stopped drinking, because I was the designated driver and I know good and well that Maria and Laila weren't leaving here sober.Stokeley walked out to the pool in the back of the house and I followed.I definitely needed some fresh air now.

"How are you liking the party?"He asked as we sat down on the stairs leading into the house.
"Its pretty fun.Thanks for inviting me."I moved closer to Stokeley and hugged his arm.
"No problem.Can I be real with you for just a second though?"I sat up and fixed my attention to his face.
"Yeah, go ahead."
"I'm not like other guys."I furrowed my eyebrows and laughed in confusion.
"I know, I can already tell."
"No, like, I'm very different.I don't want to keep this from you because you seem different from most girls and....I feel like I can tell you anything."
"Stokeley, I know you're different.That's why I like you.What more is there to say?"Stokeley was about to speak again until I heard a growl from the bushes causing us both to stand up.I got behind Stokeley as the growling got louder.

"Stokeley, what was that?"I was showered with fear at this point.
"I don't know, just stay behind me.And whatever you do....don't open the door."I nodded fast and stayed put.

Suddenly, a guy with red dreads jumped from behind the bushes.He had red eyes with blood all around his mouth.I nearly fainted from the sight.

"Stokeley Goulbourne, just the man that I wanted to see."The boy's eyes turned from red to brown in an instant.He began to walk up to us.
"What do you want, Trippie?"Stokeley had an attitude as he spoke to him.
"You haven't been feeding like you should.What's the matter?Afraid of a little blood?"Feeding?What the hell does he mean by....feeding?Trippie was nearing us now.I was hoping that he wasn't going to see me behind Stokeley.I covered my mouth as my breathing began to speed up.
"I'm not like you guys.Ayleks did this to me.If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be like this.I'm never going to feed, fuck that."Stokeley was trying his best to hide me.
"I hear a heartbeat near.I know you hear it, too.Come on, its in you.Just a pint is all you need."Trippie was super close to Stokeley now.I wanted to scream and run, but I couldn't from the state of shock that I was in.
"Oh, look what we have here.Who is this?Another one of your "prizes"?"Trippie asked looking behind Stokeley and making eye contact with me.I couldn't help but scream and run inside.

"MARIA, LAILA!!!LET'S FUCKING GO!!"I screamed and grabbed them as we ran towards the car outside.

I could hear someone running after us but at this moment, I didn't care.I locked the doors as soon as they got in.I looked in the rear view mirror to see all of the boys flooding into a car.Fuck.

"Summer, what the hell is going on?"Maria asked in fear.
"Stokeley....is a fucking.....vampire!!!!"I screamed as I reved the engine to go faster.I wanted to be home, I knew I never should have went to that party.

"What?!Could Isaiah and the rest of them be one too?!"Laila yelled.
"I don't fucking know and I don't want to find out."I sped home and into my driveway.We took the back way so that we could lose them and fortunately, we did.

"Yo, what the hell are we going to do tomorrow?We go to school with them now.They know that we know their secret."Maria said, frantically.
"I don't know, man.Maybe I can just switch us out of all the classes that we have with them, I don't know.I'm just freaking out right now.Any of us could have gotten bit.This dude named Trippie kept telling Stokeley to feed, but he didn't want to and then he heard my heartbeat and I just - I can't.This night was a fucking disaster."I said, laying my head on the driving wheel.
"Heard your heartbeat?What the hell?This isn't fucking Twilight.Are you sure, Summer?This could all be because we're drunk."Laila said, calming down a bit.
"I don't know, Laila.I'm with Summer.We've never seen her so frantic like that.Ever.We just need to see them in action."Maria said, running her fingers through her hair.
"Yeah, yeah.Let's just figure this out tomorrow.My mom is probably worried sick."I said bye to the girls and got out and went inside.

I shut the door and put my back against it.

"Hey, baby, how was the party?"I heard my mom say coming from upstairs.
"It was just swell,Mom.I loved it."I lied as I forced a smile.
"That's great, honey.Come shower and get changed so you can go to bed."I nodded and smiled.I was so glad that this night was over.But, this - this was the beginning of something huge.
