My mom drove Luke and I to Luke's house as the guys drove in their own car.We walked into the heat, exhaling at the relief.
"Come on" Luke spoke towards me, making me raise my eyebrows.
"I'll show you the guest room,"
I followed him down the hall and to a door, which he opened, leading me into.
"This is of course the bed, that's a closet- the bathroom" he pointed to the obvious rooms, making me nod lightly.
"Calum's room is right across the hall, everyone else is upstairs but no one will mind if you wake them up because you need anything" be informed me.
"But, everything in this house is yours, take anything touch anything- we don't care." He spoke, tucking his hands into his hoodie pockets,
"Thank you" I spoke quietly, looking to him,
He gave a small smile and a firm nod.
He turned to walk away but stopped himself, turning back.
"Can I ask you something?" I felt my nerves building up.
"Sure"
Him and I looked at each other- and I started feeling almost small, doubting myself.
"Do I scare you?"
A hard question
"I don't know" I mumbled truthfully
"I think it's the thought of you that's scary" I spoke
"But you as a person- like you and I talking, I'm not scared of you, I'm just nervous"
"I want a future with you and your mother, do you think you can give me a chance?"
He seemed so sincere
He seemed so- real.
"It might take me a little to be like- comfortable" I spoke quietly
"But I think I'd be willing to try"
