"Sin! Hurry up!"
"I'm coming!"
"Come faster!"
"I can't find them!"
"I swear if she pees on me-"
"Found it!"He pulled a diaper out of the dresser and threw it to her. Still looking down at the baby, who was screaming bloody murder, and keeping one hand on her, Layla caught the diaper flawlessly and secured it on her in a flash. Once she was done, Layla lifted her off the bed and held the back of her head, holding her to her chest whilst rocking her to calm her down. Sinbad made his way over to the bed and clapped his hands together. Placing his hands on his hips, he smiled brightly.
"Wow, that was a close one," he breathed out.
She glared at him as she continued to rock her and she walked away from him. Sinbad looked at her in confusion and followed behind.
"What? What did I do?" he asked.
"You know, you're gonna have to change her diaper one day."
He chuckled nervously and rubbed the back of her head. "I know. I just don't like the poo-y ones."She continued to walk around the room and he continued to follow. Esra had stopped crying but was now falling asleep.
Layla sighed. "She's already two weeks old and you haven't changed her diaper even once. What if your life depended on changing her diaper and then you can't and I'm in the background laughing and saying I told you so?"
"Oh, come on, Layla. There's no need to be so melodramatic. And I thought I was the dramatic one."
She rolled her eyes. "I have to feed her, change her, bathe her while you get all the fun times with her." She pouted. "It's not fair."
He breathed out and held her shoulders to stop her from walking. "Okay..." Turning her around, he looked down at her. "The truth is...I'm nervous."
Her brows furrowed slightly. "Why?"
"You've changed so many diapers and looked after so many babies because of the orphanage. But I've never done that kinda thing before," he explained. "I'm just scared I'll get it wrong."
Layla felt bad for getting annoyed with him. "I'm so sorry, Sin. You're such a natural with her that I thought you were okay with changing diapers." She sighed and smiled softly. "When it's time for her next change, whether it's a number one or two, you're going to change her. But don't worry, I'll help you every step of the way."
He smiled too and pecked her lips. "Thank you."
"You're welcome. Now, speaking of bathroom related things, I need it go. Can you take her?"
"Sure."He took Esra from her and she quickly rushed away to the bathroom. Once the door was closed, Sinbad looked down at his daughter who was now gazing up at him with her big eyes.
"How close was that?" he spoke to her quietly. "Your mom would've killed me if she found out that I actually know how to change diapers." He smiled and poked the tip of her nose, which made her blink. "But keep that between us," he whispered.
After Layla came out of the bathroom, she found Esra asleep on the bed with Sinbad sitting next to her. She smiled and sat down on the other side of the baby. But as she sat down, she had to make sure she lowered herself slowly. Sinbad frowned a little.
"Does it still hurt?"
"Yes," she sighed.
"Let me apply the ointment again."
She scrunched up her nose. "But it stings," she whined quietly.
He shook his head. "You still need to put it on. It's already healing."She frowned at him like a child but reluctantly agreed. While she lay down, Sinbad got the ointment from the dressing table. By the time he returned, Layla had removed her pants and underwear but kept her legs closed. He sat down on the bed and looked at her.
"How am I supposed to do it if you keep your legs closed?"
She pouted. "I'm scared."He gave her a look and she hesitantly opened her legs a little. He pushed her legs further apart before having a good look at her private area to assess the damage. She wasn't embarrassed at all. He was her husband after all and if she could have anyone do it, it would be him.
"See?" he said. "It's not that bad."
"Really?"
"Yeah. It's healing really well," he told her. "Okay..."He scooped up some ointment on his fingers and carefully began applying it to the areas that were still raw and healing. A lot of stitches were done when she was taken to the hospital. Even though Esra was small, Layla had torn quite a lot and it was incredibly painful for her. She kept her eyes squeezed shut as he spread the ointment as it stung a lot. But finally after what like a lifetime, he finished. He put her underwear and pants back on for her but as he was doing it, he was giggling to himself. She opened her eyes to see him laughing like a child.
"What's so funny?"
He controlled his laughter and looked at her. "I feel like I'm changing your diaper."Layla burst out laughing but quickly covered her mouth with her hand so she didn't disturb the baby. Sinbad chuckled quietly and climbed over her, holding himself up with his elbows on either side of her head.
"Let's make a bet," he suggested.
Wrapping her arms around his neck, she raised a brow. "Go on."
"If I can't change Esra's diaper without your help, then you can ask for whatever you want and I'll make it happen."
"Okay. And if you can?"He leaned down and whispered something into her ear, which made her eyes widen and her face become bright red. Blushing deeply, she almost couldn't look into his eyes as he smirked at her.
"Sin..."
"Please? It's been ages since you've done it and I'm desperate."
She sighed. "Fine."Just as the deal was made, Esra began to stir and wake up. And as she moved, there was a huge explosion coming from her butt. Layla looked at Sinbad with a smirk.
"It's tiiiime," she said in a singsong tone.
"Okay." He nodded with determination and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Now I know I'm going to win."She laughed quietly as he climbed off her and went to get the cloths, water and diaper. She stayed on the bed and turned towards Esra, holding her hand while she watched Sinbad get to work.
But as he started, her eyes widened. He was doing it so flawlessly. Taking her diaper off, cleaning away her poo and putting the new one on. He even did better than her and was done in less than a minute. The way he moved was almost hypnotic and by the time he was done, her mouth was hanging open. He clapped his hands together and smiled proudly.
"Done."
She was in shock and sat up. "But... But... How... You so cheated! You're a cheater!"
He shrugged innocently. "How can anyone cheat at this?"
"I-I-I don't know..." She frowned in frustration. "I am so not doing it."
He smirked. "Hey. A bet's a bet."She almost wanted to cry as Sinbad wiggled his brows at her. She had truly lost and it was time for her to give him what he wanted.

That night, standing in the dark outside a bedroom door, Layla had pulled all of her hair over her face. She was wearing some of Sinbad's clothes so they were hanging off her to make her look like a ghost. Sinbad held Esra and stood around the corner, peeking out to watch. She knocked on the door and waited. She could hear someone approaching and started her act. She began tilting her head side to side to make it seem more realistic.
The door opened and a second later, a really high-pitched scream filled the hallway. Layla continued to act like a ghost and put on a deep, growly voice.
"Hinahoho..!"
He screamed again and slammed the door shut before screaming for Rurumu and claiming there was a ghost. Sinbad held his hand over his mouth as he laughed at Hinahoho's reaction. Layla quickly ran back to him and they continued to hide as they heard Rurumu come out of the room. Obviously not seeing anything, she became annoyed and they heard her yelling at him.
Layla couldn't help but giggle quietly as Sinbad took her hand and returned to their own bedroom. They both burst out laughing as they thought of Hinahoho's girly scream.
"Okay, okay," Layla giggled. "That was actually worth it."
Sinbad chuckled as they lay down on the bed. "Seems Hinahoho will need his diaper changing tonight."
