Layla stepped into her new home with Amir. After leaving the whole wedding hustle and bustle in Sindria, being in Amir's home was a complete contrast. It was only the two of them. Of course, he didn't have a family but he did his best to make her feel welcome.

He took hold of her hand and led her to the living room. Being very well paid, he had a very lovely home. It was small since it was only him but it was just big enough for the both of them.

"Do let me know if you need anything," he said as they both sat on the couch. "I don't have much but I will try my best."
She smiled softly, still holding his hand. "I will."
He returned the smile. "I never got the chance to say this earlier but you look incredibly beautiful. I didn't believe it was possible."
"Thank you," she said as she blushed. "And you are very handsome. You always are."
He lifted her hand and placed a kiss on it. "Thank you. I know it is tradition for the husband to give his wife a present. So..." He reached down to the side of the couch and lifted out a square box that he had hidden. "This is for you."
"Oh, Amir, you shouldn't have."
"I know that if I had a mother, she would have wanted it."
She smiled softly and took the box. "Thank you."

She opened the small golden clasps and lifted the lid. Inside was a stunning gold jewellery set. It was a simple design but perfect enough for her to wear daily.

"Wow! This is beautiful!"
He breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness. I have no idea what looks good and what doesn't."
She giggled quietly. "You did really well. It's stunning."
"Then for that, I am glad. Now, you've had an awfully long day." He gently took her hand. "I'll show you to the bedroom."

She nodded but became really nervous as she knew what was to come next. He led her to the bedroom. It was nice and cosy with a double sized bed, a wardrobe and a dressing table. There was also another door which led to the bathroom.

"There isn't much storage but I will be getting a larger wardrobe so you can add more of your things," he told her. "And of course if there's anything you want to change in here, then I have no problem at all."
She shook her head. "It's perfect just the way it is." She walked over to the window to look at the view. "It's really wonderful."
He went and stood beside her. "Anything for you."

He gently cupped her cheek, making her blush even more so. They had never kissed before since they wanted to save everything until after marriage and as he leaned in closer, her heart was fluttering like crazy. Her eyes closed as he kissed her softly. His hands moved down to her waist as she clutched onto his clothes. Eventually, they moved to the bed and consummated their marriage.

It had been a few days since their wedding and Amir and Layla had been enjoying their time together as husband and wife. As per tradition, Layla's side was to come and visit her five days later. It was only Shaheen and Sinbad who went since they knew the house wasn't big enough to host too many people. Layla was so excited when they arrived. Even though it had only been five days, she had missed them incredibly.

"Brother!" she called as they embraced.
He smiled and hugged her tightly before parting and holding her face. "Tayir. I still can't believe you are married. You look amazing. I see Amir has been treating you well."
She nodded. "He has."
Amir laughed lightly as he embraced Shaheen as well. "In fact, Layla has been taking care of me."
"That's good to hear," Shaheen said.
"Where's Sin?" she asked.

And then Sinbad entered.

"Hey," he smiled. "Miss me?"
She gasped excitedly and hugged him. "You really did come!"
He laughed and wrapped his arms around her waist before spinning her around. "Of course I had to come." He put her down and let go of her. "So? Did you miss me?"
"Obviously," she stated with a playful roll of her eyes.
He smiled and then made his way to Amir. "I hope she's not giving you any trouble," he joked as he held his hand out.
Amir laughed and shook his hand. "Not at all. Please, come."
