Sinbad rolled over in bed only to find that Layla wasn't there. Opening his eyes, he looked around the room before suddenly coming face-to-face with her.

"AHH!" he yelped in fright. "Layla, what are you doing?"
She smiled and took in a deep breath. "Hap-"

He quickly lay down again and hid under the blanket. Layla rolled her eyes and sat down beside him.

"You know, that was kinda rude."
He frowned under the blanket. "I don't care."

She lay down beside him and lifted the blanket a little. Peeking inside, she saw him pouting.

"Stop acting like a child, Sin. It's your 50th birthday."
"Do you know what that means? It means I'm old."
"You're only as old as you feel," she said to make him feel better. "50 is still incredibly young. You can still take anyone down in a fight."
He sighed. "I guess..."
"Hey, you still look like you did when you were 25."
"We weren't even together when I was 25," he stated.
"So? I still found you to be very handsome. And you're still so handsome."
He continued to pout. "You're only saying that because you're my wife."
"Sin, there are thousands of women in Sindria alone who want to get into bed with you. Hell, a woman screamed at you to be her sugar daddy yesterday." She smiled softly as she moved her hand down his muscular torso. "And I love how jealous they are because only I get to sleep with you. You may be 50 but you're still amazing in bed."
He finally smiled and reached up to hold her face. "Thank you, baby girl."
"You are most welcome."

She leaned down and kissed him deeply before he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her on top of him. She smiled into the kiss upon feeling his hands gently squeezing her rear. Parting from the kiss, she looked at him flirtatiously.

"I know you don't like birthday gifts but..." She bit her lip as ran her fingers along his jawline. "I wanted to give you one. But only if you accept."
"What is it?"
"Well, I was going to book you into this bathhouse. They have the hottest women there and they give you massages." She wiggled her brows. "What do you say?"
He laughed softly. "Are you feeling okay? You hate that sort of thing."
She shrugged. "I know, but it's your 50th. It's a milestone and I want to do something special for you."
"Baby..." He pecked her lips softly. "Thirty years ago, I would have been all over it because I was young and stupid. But I don't want any of that." He held her closer. "All I want is you. You're hotter, more sexy and more beautiful than any other woman in the world. And I know because I've travelled the world and not once did I find anyone who could compete with your beauty. I love you and the perfect gift is spending the day with you."
She blushed deeply, her heart fluttering at his words. "I love you, too. And okay. It will just be the two of us."
"Let's go to your island just like we did on my 17th birthday."
She smiled. "I would like that. Oh, and it's also the 33rd anniversary of the first time we made love," she added with a wiggle of her brows.
He chuckled quietly. "And that makes today extra special."

Holding the back of her head, he pulled her down and kissed her passionately. Just as he rolled her onto the bed and climbed over her, there as a knock at the door.

"Dad, can I come in?" came Esra's voice.

Sinbad quickly jumped off Layla and grabbed his clothes that he had discarded of in the middle of the night. Layla laughed and sat up as he hurriedly put them on.

"Hang on just a second!" he told her.

He motioned to Layla to get the door as he straightened out his clothes. She went and opened it to see Esra standing there excitedly.

"Is dad ready yet?"
Layla looked over her shoulder and he gave her a thumbs up. "Yeah, he's ready."
Sinbad came over to the door and opened it wider. "Good morning!"
"Happy birthday!" Esra cheered before giving him a hug.
He embraced her tightly and kissed the top of her head. "Thank you, princess."
She pulled away from the hug. "I know you don't like presents but because you're 50, I got you something anyway. Actually, I made you something."
His smile grew. "What is it?"
She sighed and looked at him seriously. "A baby."
Sinbad's smile remained as his brow twitched. "Well, would you look at that? Your boyfriend's going to die on my birthday."
