Keep calm and read until the end. This is my longest chapter I ever wrote!

The same dream repeated in his sleep.
He stood in the middle of nowhere. It's like a strange universe. Colorful waves surrounding him. He is looking for something. Or someone?
There is another man in front of him.
Zhao Yunlan cannot see his face because it is facing on the other side.
Shen Wei? The foreign name slipped from his mouth easily.
He also slowly approaches the man.
Damn! Why his heart is hurting so much?
"You're finally here,"the other man said when he stop. Zhao Yunlan cannot help but chuckles,"are you finally leaving?"
"Every life will die out. At least our choice is meaningful", although Zhao Yunlan cannot see him, he knows the other person answers his question while holding tears.
Gosh! The pain is increasing.
Then, the man turns towards him.
Zhao Yunlan tears come out finally when that pale man face which Zhao Yunlan cannot see clearly break a smile.
"I miss you so much. I'm glad you are fine", Zhao Yunlan scream internally.
He doesn't afford to say out loud.
Both of them smile, but with painful gaze
For a while, no words spoken. Only various feelings are lingering between them.
This is a farewell .
Suddenly, a sweet voice broke out, "Let's bet!"
"Bet what?" Zhao Yunlan asks.
"Bet.."the other man move nearer to the him and continues, "no matter how long it takes,no matter where we go,there must be one day we will meet again".
"Deal",the man said without hesitation. He tries to reach that other man's face , he wants to imprint it into his mind. But everything turns to blank white.
"Ah Lan! Zhao Yunlan!"
Zhao Yunlan abruptly wake up with his mother yelling from the kitchen. Haish!
The dream will always end like that.
After his late breakfast, he goes out of the house with the excuse to visit his friends for the last time.
Honestly, he is lying. He just wants to escape from his mother's wrath to pack things.
Tomorrow, he will go to northern province. His father promotes to a higher position. It is not a good news for him.
The higher his father position in his job, the more their relationship become distant.
His father is too occupied with his duty, rarely spend time with him anymore.
Zhao Yunlan ride his bike to the town library. He is not a bibliophile. But he likes to loiter around the bookcases, pick up some random comics and magazines just to scan the pictures and sit by the grand windows to watch the town scenery.
