The pouring heavy rain did not stop the chase. The steep hill trail becomes more slippery and dangerous.

He bites his lips as the blood continues to flow out profoundly from his left shoulder that had been grazed by the window glass when they were running away from the room. It's so painful, but he needs to be strong to survive. After all, this is his fault.

"Ge!"Yezun which on his back calls. Finally, his conscious return.

"Yezun, hold on. We're going to be safe. Don't worry and get some rest",Shen Wei tightens his hold on Yezun. Both of them might be similar build, but Yezun is actually lighter and a bit shorter than him. Plus, the injuries that those bastards inflicted towards him, make him weaker than usual.

"Ge,just leave me alone. Your shoulder is getting worse", Yezun barely says to his brother. He not in his own feet. His mind is floating like clouds. Even his eyes barely opens, he can sense Shen Wei condition.

"No way Yezun. I will never abandon you,Didi. Do you remember our promise since we were kids? We are sticking to each other even to the hell", Shen Wei laughs a bit. Yes, he never broke the promise which encourages him to cheat death many times. He had success before, so why not now?

Yezun starts to cry. That damn promise which he uttered before their parent accident. Indeed, his brother manages to survive from previous accidents. But one thing that he realises, he never been at the scene of the accident each time it happened. Now, he is the reason his brother is here, risking his life.

"You suppose to come with Yunlan. He is the police. He can protect you. Why you come to me alone like a suicide mission ?" Yezun asks.

Before Shen Wei could answer the question, a bullet hit his right leg. It is so sudden that he loses his balance, fall and both of them roll down the hillside separately.

"Ge!" Yezun may only scream in agony as Shen Wei is getting disappear from his sight.

"Yezun, wake up! It's just a dream!" Shen Wei quickly shook his brother very strong. It's just like Zhao Yunlan in the night of the past New Year. He starts wondering, what he had done to them in their sleep until they scream his name with fright.

Do I become the king of the ghost or what?

Or some cold-hearted killer wrap in a black cloak and wearing a mask?

Yezun wakes up and covered by sweat. The moment he realises Shen Wei presence, he pulls his brother into a tight hug. Shen Wei laugh amicably, " What i had done in your dream? Have i become a bad person or I turn into a monster?"

Yezun shakes his head before answers the question hoarse voice. " You aren't not changing. But you left me alone with you noble suicidal act".

Shen Wei raises his eyebrows and his forehead wrinkled. "That's nonsense!Why should I leave you? My place is with you by my side".

"How about that brat, Yunlan? Where are you going to put him?" there is a hint of jealousy from Yezun question.

Shen Wei is not surprised by that question. His happy expression returns. "Well, Zhao Yunlan will be on my right side and you will be on my left side. Fair isn't? You may be doubtful with my answer. However you need to trust me that I love both of you so much as I love myself. I cannot afford to lose any of you".

Yezun is satisfied with the answer. He thanks Shen Wei for the hug and bring himself to the bathroom. He is lucky not to miss his shift tonight because of the nightmare.
