Future 8 part 2

 Zhao Yunlan ends his call, wipes his happy tears and walks to the counter. The cashier is ready with his order.   Two cold mango smoothies and a strawberry chocolate shortcake. Since they accidentally ate the alcoholic chocolate, Shen Wei starts to like chocolate and strawberry.

"Why?" he asks one day during their date at the cafe. Shen Wei took a spoon of his strawberry chocolate shortcake into his mouth. Shen Wei answered when he took another spoon, his large, doe-like eyes stared Zhao Yunlan and his mouth curl into a lopsided smile, " Because their sweet taste reminds me of you. You are very tasty".   Zhao Yunlan was left speechless and his mind blew.

Today, his mind is blowing again. He is officially Shen Wei 's. He cannot hold his grins as he remembered what had happened in the evening. Of course, that event will be engraved in his memory forever.

"Is this one of his wet dream?" Zhao Yunlan wonders as his eyes lands on the box . He bites his lower lip hard. Ok, this is real because he feel the pain.

He almost lost his breath when Shen Wei stands up from the bench and drops one of his knees in front of him. The box opens with his captivating smile and deep gaze.

Damn! Zhao Yunlan gulps. Help! He barely holds himself. He really recognised that significant box. It is from the most popular jewellery store in their city, the one that Da Qing suggested him to go on their past shopping spree for his wedding proposal gift. It also the same one Zhu Hong had suggested. The store even become viral in the media becomes.

  "That.....", Zhao Yunlan cannot continue his words.  

Shen Wei speaks softly but clearly confident," I wish I am a superhero or having any magic power to help you defeat the enemies. To protect you from any harm as much as you want to protect me. But, as a normal human now, what I able to offer is to always stay by your side in every situation. Sometimes, I may not with you physically. But remember, my heart belongs to you, no one can ever replace it. So Mr Zhao Yunlan, are you willing to accept me as your bride? For me to become your another half from the past, in present and for future?"

Words fail him! That is Zhao Yunlan reaction hearing Shen Wei words.

Seriously, this is really out of the blue. Please, someone, knock him back to reality.

Is his shy and beloved Professor Shen Wei from Dragon City University is proposing him for marriage? Like, for real? He thought he is the one who will ask Shen Wei. This is beyond his imagination.

Even after Zhao Yunlan break the news about the uncertainty of their future, Shen Wei still believes with him. That their separation is brief and nothing can prevent them to be together forever.

Then only he realises, Shen Wei still in the same position, waiting for his answer and on his hand is an opened box showing a 3 brilliant cut diamond white gold ring around a beautiful necklace chain. Both their initial name engraved inside of the ring shank.

Zhao Yunlan wipes his tears and stares at Shen Wei eyes. A smile break in the midst of his sobs.

" Of course I do, Shen Wei. Aish! I never expecting this. Not after what I told you", Zhao Yunlan voice hoarse.

Shen Wei gives a quick kiss on Zhao Yunlan forehead before carefully put the necklace around Yunlan's neck. " You are worth it. Honestly, I had been planning for a more dramatic marriage proposal with Yezun. However, I change my mind after you dropping the news. I can't wait any longer for you to be mine".
