They broke us (Laurence x reader)

~Y/N P.O.V~

I was drinking at a bar, I felt sad and may have cried a few times. The people in the bar might have thought I was weird, maybe they were concerned but didn't care enough to talk to me. I chugged down my 5th bottle of beer. The bartender looked at me like I was crazy, like who drinks 5 bottles of beer when they are as small as me. I glared at him and ordered another one, he shrugged and got me my 6th beer of the night, see he doesn't care anyway. I turned to look at the crowd and saw a man arrive, he had brown hair and blue eyes. He looked sad just like me. He walked over to the bar and sat on the stool next to me ordering some whiskey. He looked at me and smiled a little.

"Why do you look so sad, darling?" He asked me, Humm I hate flirts.

"I could ask you the same" I looked at him, he wasn't dressed the best and looked like he just got his heart ripped out of his chest.

"I asked you first" he smirked. I rolled my eyes and took another drink.

"If you need to know which is none of your business but I found out my boyfriend was cheating on me," I said, he looked at me with sadness.

"My girlfriend cheated on me tonight, in my bedroom," he said. Ooh, that's bad at least Aaron wasn't home.

"I feel bad, I guess we are in the same boat then," I said. He nodded and we both took another sip.

"Yea it sucks when people cheat," he said, I looked down.

"Do you know why she cheated?" I asked. I know why Aaron did to me.

"No, but I should have known, they were really close friends, how about you?" He asked.

"He told me that he found someone prettier, who satisfied him" I explained.

"What a jerk, you are beautiful and if I were him I would treat a girl right. Like I did with Aphmau" he yelled, my eyes widen.

"Aphmau as in Aphmau lord?" I asked.

"You know who my ex-girlfriend is?" I can't believe this.

"Aphmau Lord is the one fucking my ex-boyfriend" I explained. His face erupted with rage.

"You were the one that was dating Aaron?" Well, that's a strange turn of events.

"So our ex-cheat on us and then we meet in a bar not knowing" I sum up everything that just happened.

"So umm my name is Laurence, nice to meet you" he scratched his neck awkwardly. I giggled.

"We find out about our ex-cheating and you act like it's a normal encounter. Hi, I'm Y/N" I said introducing myself.

"You have a beautiful name" he smiled. I blushed.

"Thank you" I look down sad.

"Aaron thought your name was beautiful didn't he?" I nodded remembering the day we met. I was so much younger back then. It was high school and I had a crush on him and another boy. Aaron actually asked me out which was shocking since he was popular and I was nothing but we ended up dating and we're happy. Until he started becoming distant and always leaving until late. I guess that's when he started cheating.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean" I giggled.

"Laurence it's fine, just remembering old times," I said, he smiled weakly at me.

"Wanna talk about?" He asked. Should I tell this complete stranger how I feel? I guess since we are in the same boat.

"Well we use to be happy, he would treat me like I was the only woman in the world it was nice. I just wish he would have ended it instead of cheating and breaking my heart. I told him he could back out before I fell in love with him, he chose to do it after" I rant to Laurence. He is a very good listener.

"So you loved him?" He asked I nodded.

"I was going to tell him and give him my all but when he told me about Aphmau I was broken" I couldn't cry anymore I should have been but nothing came out.

"You're a virgin?" He asked I chuckled.

"Yes, I always wanted my first time to be with someone special. I wish I chose differently" I sighed. This is actually helping me. I wish I chose my other crush, maybe he wouldn't have broken my heart.

"What do you mean chose differently" he's very interested in a guy that just met me.

"I had two crushes in high school. Aaron and another guy with brown hair and blue eyes, he was a soccer player and was really sweet" I explain. He looked at me with wide eyes.

"Omg, how did I not know this before, no wonder you seem so familiar," he said. What is he on about.

"What do you mean Laurence?" I was beyond confused.

"Do you not remember me? N/N" he smiled at me when my eyes grew. This is the Laurence, the brown haired blue eyed soccer playing boy that I turned down.

"Laurence omg. Heh, weird how the world works" I giggled.

"So you had a crush on me?" He smirked. I blushed. I didn't think this through.

~Laurence P.O.V~

I felt like shit. I can't believe the girl that I loved so much cheated on me in my room with him. I knew I wasn't paranoid, she kept telling me they are just friends but friends don't fuck. I couldn't believe her, how could I trust her? I stormed out of my house broken, they broke me and went to the bar. I need to wash my problems away in alcohol a man best friend. When I entered the bar I stomped all the way to the bar, sat down and order whiskey. I need something strong. I saw a girl, she looked around my age and really sad maybe she's also having a bad day? We chatted for a while she told me her boyfriend cheated on her, I guess we are in the same boat. I found out her name is Y/N, I was shocked because I knew a Y/N once I had a crush on that girl. I was really angry when I found out Aphmau cheated on me with Aaron who was dating Y/N how dare that low life hurt this beautiful and amazing woman. She got sad all of sudden and I asked if she wanted to talk about it. She started telling me about her and Aaron and then mentioned another crush.

"Another guy with brown hair and blue eyes, he played soccer and was so sweet" I froze in shock. She was talking about me so this is the Y/N from back then.

"How did I not know this before no wonder you looked familiar," I said, she was confused. Laurence maybe explain. I explained to her that I am the Laurence she was talking about by calling her by her nickname.

"So you had a crush on me" I smiled. She blushed. My crush liked me back then, I can't believe it took us getting broken to come back to the path we had before.

Wrote this all in the reader P.O.V and forgot about Laurence's so I added it at the end. I will write the next one in Laurence P.O.V more than this one.
