Japan was relaxing on the couch with a cup of tea in hand and reading some manga. He was happy and enjoying the scilence until his boyfriend America came in and put his hands on Japan's shoulders.
"Hey Keeks, what'cha doing?" Keeks? What did America mean by that?
"Are you talking to me America?" Japan gave America a confused expression.
"Of course I am! I decided to give you a nickname that is just as adorable as you! Since Kiku is your human name, I'll you keeks." America gave Japan a cute stare, waiting for Japan's opinion on the nickname.
Japan gave America one of his rare smiles and said, "I really like it Alfie."
"I'm so glad you like it... wait, Alfie?" This time, America gave Japan the confused look.
"You made a nickname out of my human, so I'll do the same thing with yours." America's name was Alfred, and he quickly took a liking to his new nickname.
"Thanks so much Keeks! I love it, but I love you more!" America then jumped on Japan and started to snuggle with him on the couch. Japan was thankful for his nickname, and that he put down his tea and manga before America jumped on him.
"Your welcome Alfie, and I love you too."
