America was excited to see Japan out and about after so long! The earthquake and tsunami he'd experienced really took a toll on him and America just wanted to see his best friend/crush be well again. So as soon as Japan told him he was all better now, the American asked him to come over on a certain day in February. Now, all America could do was wait in his house until Japan arrived. A knock was then heard at the door. America shot off the couch and ran to the door, finding Japan on the other side.

"Hey Japan, glad to see you are doing better! Come in, it must be cold outside since its snowing!" America grabbed Japan's wrist and pulled him inside.

"Thank you America-san, and I guess it was pretty cold out there." Japan took off his coat and America put it away for him.

"No problem, hey do you got any luggage? I'd assume so since you came all the way here from your country and its starting to get a bit late." America asked.

"Yes, but I left it all in my rental car. I was planning on staying in a hotel until I left tomorrow." Japan replied.

"No way am I going to make you spend money on a cheap hotel room! You can stay here tonight in my guest room!" With that, America snatched the car keys out of Japan's hands. He then got his own coat on and went outside to get Japan's luggage for him. Meanwhile, Japan made himself comfy on America's couch. After a few minutes, the door flew open and America came in with Japan's suitcase, covered in snow. "Dude, it became a crazy blizzard outside in only a few seconds! Anyway, lets watch a sci-fi movie that my rad alien friend Tony recommended!"

"I'm glad it's not a horror movie this time, I've been wanting to watch something else." Japan was relieved. "So what is it called?"

"Alien, that's it. Tony didn't really tell me anything about the movie, just that its sci-fi. Now lets watch it, but first." America ran to his kitchen and brought back a lot of Hershey's chocolate, and set it on the coffee table for them to eat. "I had Pennsylvania make all of this chocolate for us yesterday, so its fresher than those store bought Hershey's chocolate! Hope you enjoy it!" That wasn't the entire truth, but it was close. This wasn't all of the chocolate he had Pennsylvania make, there was a box full of heart-shaped chocolate he wanted to give Japan for Valentines Day. However he wasn't ready to give him those yet, instead America started the movie.

(Small Time Skip)

"Why Tony? Why did you betray me and only tell me this was a sci-fi movie!?" America was screaming and hugging Japan. Then, right as the xenomorph attacked the lights and TV turned off. All the power was out and even the heater went down, the house grew cold and dark really quickly. Both nations could here the loud wind of the raging blizzard outside.

"Darn it, the blizzard caused a power outage. Now its cold and dark! Hold on, I'm going to get some blankets and candles to light this place up." After a while, all the candles were set up and America lit the fireplace. He and Japan were now huddled together for warmth. Normally Japan would uncomfortable with this close physical contact, but since it was America, he made an exception.

America couldn't help but glance at Japan every few seconds. The atmosphere was perfect for romance, being surrounded by a bunch of candles and a lit fireplace, as well as being close together on a couch. He decided to just go for it and snaked his arm around Japan's shoulders to pull him closer.

"A-America-san?" Japan started to say but America put a finger to his lips. "Quiet Japan, just relax and enjoy the moment." After a few moments, Japan relaxed and snuggled into America. He just loved the warmth the american brought him, Japan felt safe with America's arm around him.

"Hey Japan." Japan looked up at America's face to see his face had a light blush. "What is it America-san, are you ok?"

"Never better, I just need to tell you something..." America paused and took a deep breath. "I've loved you for the longest time, and not just as a friend. You are just so smart, sweet, and kind when you aren't being too introverted. I also find you really cute, you look like a porcelain doll that I just want to pick up and hold. Everything about this situation just felt perfect and romantic, so I felt like I had to tell you now rather than later."

Japan was couldn't believe what he was hearing, he was shocked but also insanely happy. So happy in fact, that Japan even smiled. He fixed his posture and wrapped his arms around America, and hugged him. "I love you too America-san! I've loved you ever since you came to visit me in the hospital and kissed me on the cheek!"

With his arms around Japan's waist, America held Japan close. Both were so happy to let their feelings for each other be known. Eventually, Japan drew back, but America brought him back and kissed Japan on the lips. While he was surprised, Japan gladly accepted the kiss. Finally, they both drew back and cuddled for a bit with Japan on America's lap.

"Hey Japan, wait here for a bit. I have something I want to give to you." America got off the couch and placed Japan on it. He then came back with a heart-shaped box full of the Valentine's Day chocolates, and handed then to Japan. "It's actually Valentines Day here in my country so, I wanted to give you these to show you that I really do love you, Japan"

"Thank you so much America, would you like to share with me?" America kissed Japan on the cheek. "Definitely."

The two nations then spent the rest of the night cuddling and feeding each other chocolate. Eventually they decided to go to bed, however the guest bedroom wasn't used that night.
