"Damn, it's so hot!"

Despite being in the state of Michigan, a heatwave came about. America and Japan were sweating a lot, even in the northern Mackinac Island.

"America, when do you think Mitch(Michigan) will be back? We could then go sailing in one of the lakes to cool off." Japan turned his head to see America taking off his shirt, causing Japan to blush profusely. "She could be back in about 45 minutes." America responded.

"What are you doing!? I'm not even used to Italy and Germany's tendencies to be naked! Now you're stripping!"

"Don't worry about it Japan. At least I'm not taking off my pants like they do. Besides, I know you enjoy seeing me shirtless." America winked at Japan, and the latter blushed even further.

The Japan noticed something peculiar on America's chest, right where is heart would be. "What's that on your chest?" America looked down. "Oh, you mean this scar? It's something England caused, he burnt my capital to the ground in 1814 and this scar appeared."

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that..., but why? Weren't you independent by the time it happened?" Japan couldn't help but be a little curious.

"Yeah, I sure was. However, the war of 1812 happened, he even got Canada to help him. I've forgiven Canada, but I still haven't talked to England about it really.  Not even after all this time, unless he brings it up in one of our arguments. Anyway, I've got a scar on my head from the revolutionary war, but my hair covers it up." Japan looked closely and saw a small scar on the side of America's forehead. America showed him a few more scars, the most noticeable being the scar on his heart and one on him stomach. "Hopefully I'm not grossing you out too much."

"No, I think all of these scars make you look really cool." Japan couldn't help but touch the scar on America's heart, and America didn't mind. Suddenly, the door flew open, and their daughter (I'll explain later) Michigan, aka Mitch, stepped inside.

"America, Japan, I'm hom-." Mitch stopped in her tracks as she saw America without a shirt and Japan touching his chest. Just like her reserved father, Mitch didn't tolerate nudity either.

"Okay, put a shirt on, or do whatever you are doing in the bedroom! I will not walk in this house again to find you guys doing the dirty on the couch! I know that isn't what you are doing right now, but it looks like its getting there!" Japan pulled his hand away from America. The two then tried to explain what they were doing in their embarrassed state. "Mitchi it's not what you think! I was just showing Japan my scars and then things happened, and you walked in the door! Why are you home so early though?"

"Snyder would rather not sweat bullets, so he sent me and everyone else home early. Now put a shirt on!" America ran into his room and put on a tank top and went back to the main room. "Okay guys, how about we go sailing. It might help us cool down a bit since it's so hot!" Mitch agreed and grabbed to keys to the boat she owned, and 3 then went boating in Lake Huron.

Author's Notes About The Story:

-If America and Japan were to have a child, I think it would be either New York or Michigan. New York for  obvious reasons, and Michigan because of home state bias and that it is a mass producer of tart cherries.

-Mitch was NOT born through mpreg, mpreg is weird and disgusting. She was born through a ridiculous nation logistics reason that I made up. Don't ask what it is, its THAT ridiculous.

-I head canon that New York is America's brain, and Pennsylvania is his stomach. I also head canon that the personifications of said states died at least once during the revolutionary war, that's why America has those scars.

-Mitch owns a boat, even though she is physically 17.

-America's nickname for Mitch is Mitchi, even though he first shortened Michigan to Mitch as a nickname. Michigan is Mitch's real name, Mitch and Mitchi are both nicknames. They are also used as her human name.

-The reason why Mitch calls America and Japan by their names, is because she doesn't want to constantly confuse them with who she is really talking to. That is the problem when you have 2 dads.
