Roommates!

Chapter 5

As the group entered the mall, it was only full of adults and people in their early twenties, since it was a school day after all. Jill smiled as she wondered away from the group, walking in the direction Hot Topic.

Abby smiled before grabbing Taylor's hand and running off toward Forever 21 and JCPenny's and such.

Matt walked off to the food court, since he was hungry, as always. Danny followed after Matt, while Scout followed Jill to Hot Topic.

Jill entered Hot Topic, putting her phone into her back pocket of her shorts before looking around. She was always amazed when she entered the store. She thought that the store was pretty cool and she really liked everything in it, well, not everything, but most of it.

Scout entered a few moments after Jill, spotting the tall girl from across the room. Jill was trying on cat ears, finding a rainbow pair that had flowers on it, which was only 10$. Scout shook his head before walking off to another section of the store, looking at all the other edgy shit that store held.

Matt went to Panda Express, getting whatever they have there. Danny didn't get anything, but just stood in line with Matt. They didn't really speak, Matt being on his phone and Danny not really paying attention. Matt gets to the cashier and orders his food, the total wasn't much, only about 20$. He pulls out his wallet and gives the cashier the money, before they give him his food and put the money into the cash register.

Matt took the food and walked away, Danny following him. They find a table for two, Matt plopping into one seat and Danny sitting across from him. Two girls in the mall had seen the two, mistaking them for being gay, saying how cute the two were before quickly shuffling away.

Etai was in GameStop, looking around at all the games before finding Fortnite for Nintendo Switch. He thought it'd be funny to buy it, so he did. He exited the store with a small GameStop bag, looking around the area to see if he could spot his friends.

Abby and Taylor were currently in JcPenny's, looking at clothes and such when they saw a couple cute guys. They rolled their eyes, but also giggled at the same time. Abby was tempted to go talk to them, but she was pretty awkward around guys she found cute, and Taylor didn't feel like it.

Jill had finished purchasing everything she wanted, which came around to almost 100$ total. She had two bags filled with clothes, cat ears, and other fun things. She left Hot Topic, looking around to spot Etai across the way. She used one hand to carry both of her bags, waving at Etai.

That caught Etai's attention as he ran over to her, "Hey Jill." He said as they found a bench to sit on, going through their bags to make sure they had everything, well, mostly Jill.

"What'd you get from GameStop?" Jill asked, looking at the younger boy curiously.

"Oh nothing, just Fortnite."

"Don't you already have Fortnite?"

"Not for.." He paused for pulling out the game, "Nintendo Switch!"

Jill just looked at Etai with disbelief, "I can't believe you bought fucking Fortnite for Nintendo Switch." She shook her head before standing up, "Let's just go find the others."

Everyone decided to meet up at the foot court, where Danny and Matt were at. Jill was sitting with them, since Etai went off to find Scout. Jill pulled out a sweater she bought and quickly tried it on. The sweater was big and baggy, the sleeves longer than Jill's arms, surprisingly. She smiled as she loved it.

"Heya boys! And Jilly." Abby said as she approached them, Taylor right by her side. The ladies had maybe two bags each, they had found some cute shit on their journey. One bag from JcPenny's, and another bag from Forever 21. Well, Abby had a bag from Bath and Body's Works, which was filled with good smelling hand sanitizers.

"Where's Etai and Scout?" Taylor asked, and they just shrugged,

"Oh, Etai went to drag Scout out of Hot Topic." Jill said, scoffing a bit.

"Ohh, got it." Taylor said as she grabbed a chair from another table and dragged it to the table, sitting down next to Matt.

Abby did the same, sitting next to Jill. A few minutes after sitting there and chatting, Scout walked into the food court and toward them, "Hey." He said before stealing a chair and sitting next to Danny.

"Where's Etai?" Abby questioned, a little too quickly.

"Hm? Oh, no clue." Scout said, seeming a bit confused.

"I thought Etai went to get you?" She asked, looking around a little paranoid now.

"Little guy never walked into the store."

This surprised the group, well, mostly the girls anyway. Maybe Etai didn't know where Hot Topic was? They hoped so.

"Alright," Jill said as she stood, "We gotta find Etai brothers."

Abby nodded, standing up as well, not bothering to say much else before quickly walking away from the group and out of the food court area.

"Abby and Etai eh?" Matt joked as he looked at the rest of the group, making them laugh a bit.

"Alright, i'll check GameStop, sounds like somewhere he'd be." Jill said, Taylor tagging along, "You guys should look for him too, or else I'll cut your dicks off."

The boys rolled their eyes, "Fine." Matt said, putting his phone into his pocket. He stood and grabbed his tray, walking to the trash can to dump it out. Once he returned, Danny and Scout were waiting for him. When they spotted Matt, they sighed before walking out of the food court as well to search for Etai.

It shouldn't be too hard to find him, right?

Wrong. The group spent at least 2 hours looking for the boy. They ended up contacting security and the police. Abby was freaking out, same with the rest of the group.

"Still no sign of Etai?" Danny asked Taylor, which she shook her head. Everyone ended up regrouping in front of JcPenny's, since it wasn't too hard to miss. "Shit man." He mumbled.

Abby sat on a bench outside of JcPenny's, calling Etai for about the 100th time, still going straight to voicemail.

"Guys, why isn't Jill here?" Scout asked, everyone now noticing the girl hadn't shown up.

Matt groaned, "Someone better go check Hot Topic, or somewhere with knifes or ropes."

"Matt!" Taylor said before smacking his arm.

"Hey! Am I wrong??" Matt held his arm and rolled his eyes. "And wasn't Jill with you?"

"Jill walked out of GameStop to go check Spencer's or something." She said, sighing.

"God dammit, someone call her." Danny said, and Taylor was on it immediately. Jill's phone went off a couple times before she answered.

There was only silence for a moment.

"Hello?" Jill's cheerful voice spoke through the phone.

"Jill? Where the hell are ya?" Taylor asked worried, raising her voice a bit.

"Oh, i'm with Etai," She said, her tone was a bit off but not by much.

"Etai??" Taylor said, looking at the group. She ended up putting the phone onto speaker.

"Yeah?" The voice boomed out of the phone, which Taylor had to turn down.

"Why didn't you tell us you found Etai??" Abby said, pretty much yelling at this point.

"Uh, I don't know, slipped my mind I guess." There were some background conversations, the group was able to identify one of them to be british, and female.

"Who the hell is with you?" Matt asked before the phone hung up.
