Everyone calmed down, except for Jill who was still crying while Danny continued to hold her. They couldn't let her go, Danny already did and she tried to run through the street while cars were zooming past.
They were now outside some coffee shop, Matt and Taylor went back to the mall to collect all their bags since they were left when they chased after Jill and Etai. Somehow, someone didn't steal their shit, well, probably because Ace stayed back, since he's too fat to run.
Everyone was sitting at a pretty big table, some extra chairs stolen from other tables but they made it work. The only person not sitting was, well, Danny of course. It was either Danny hold Jill or someone had to run back to the mall and buy some handcuffs or something.
Jill no longer struggled though, she was kinda out of it. Etai sighed as he looked at the group and stayed silent for a moment before beginning to explain, "So, the reason we didn't tell you guys that we were hanging out with the other group was because we knew you guys would be mad, but Jill and I do miss Molly and everyone else." He paused, "And we just didn't want you guys to be disappointed that we were hanging out with the "wrong people", which we aren't, they aren't wrong."
Jill looked down, she hasn't looked at anyone directly in the eye since Danny got ahold of her.
"And Molly, we didn't tell you guys that we were still friends with Abby and them, because we knew that you guys would most likely not want to hang out with us or talk to us, but we do just miss you guys a lot." Etai said with a small smile.
"Aw, Etai, we wouldn't be disappointed in you guys." Abby said as she wrapped an arm around Etai, giving him a side hug, "We love ya, we could never be disappointed in ya, same with you Jill." Abby said as she looked up at Jill and smiled, but she was too busy not paying attention.
"Etai, we understand why you didn't tell us," Molly began, "And sorry that we did make you feel that way, it's not like we meant to, we just thought you would take advantage of us or something, and tell all of our secrets or something to them." Molly said as she gave him a small smile.
"Glad we got this sorted out, let's go." Matt said as he stood up and began to walk away.
"Matthew," Taylor said as she grabbed his hand and pulled him back, "You aren't leaving yet."
He groaned, he just wanted to go home and sleep, "Why not, we listened to Etai explain whatever happened and we forgive him, let's go."
Taylor scowled Matt, which made him sigh, "Fine, I'll stay." He said as he sat back down.
"One question, why did you two run instead of just explaining?" Brae asked.
"I was a little terrified that you guys would yell at me. Not so sure about Jill though, probably the same thing." Etai said with a nervous chuckle, "Sorry."
"No need to apologize." Ace said, "You're fine."
Etai nodded and looked up at the pretty much lifeless Jill. She hadn't been moving much, or talking, which is strange because she usually can't shut the fuck up.
"Jill?" Etai said, making everyone else look at her. She didn't say anything, which worried the rest of the group.
"Are you okay? We're sorry if we upset you." Endy said as she stood from her seat.
"Yeah, Jill, we're sorry, just say something." Abby said, her tone calming.
Jill closed her eyes for a moment before opening them to look at her friends. She glanced around from person to person. All she did was shake her head.
"Jill, if you don't speak, i'm going to squeeze the shit out of you." Danny said, his tone very serious.
It's not like Jill cared at this point, she just shrugged.
"Let's... just go home." Etai said as he stood up, everyone else standing as well.
"We'll, maybe see ya guys later?" Blade said, looking at the other group.
Abby gave him a small shrug, "Maybe." She said before walking away, followed by the rest of the group.
Blade sighed as he gave them an awkward wave as they left.
••••••••••
The group drove home in silence. Jill was up in the passenger's side. Scout sat next to Matt in the middle and Etai sat in the back with the girls.Once they reached home, they got out of the car, grabbing their bags and shit. Jill opened the car door and grabbed her things before walking quickly into the house, grabbing her keys and unlocking the front door. She opened it and rushed in. She went to her room and grabbed her laptop, and her charger for it before exiting and making her way to the guest room, slamming the door and locking it.
Everyone brought their stuff in. They put their bags on the counter. Danny sighed before sitting on one of the barstools, "Someone better talk to Jill." He said, leaning against the counter.
"On it." Taylor said as she was already down the hall. She reached the guest bedroom and knocked on the door softly. "Jill?" She said softly, wondering if Jill would even respond. But she didn't. It was just silence. "It's me, Taylor, and just Taylor. Can I come in?" She asked, which again, wasn't a response. Taylor attempted to open the door, only to see it was locked. She sighed before walking back to the kitchen, "I don't think she'll be talking to anyone for awhile.." Taylor said as she sat on the other barstool.
And with that. Jill had been locked in the guest bedroom for the past 3 days.
