I Love Him So Much

My alarm woke me up early the next day 5:00 to be exact "Oh my god." I muttered as I looked at my clock "Why did I set it so early?" and then I remembered "Maxie." I got out of bed and put on my fluffy bunny slippers I'd gotten for my 17th birthday last month, then ran down stairs in to the kitchen where my mother was getting ready to leave for work. "Mom have you seen Max today?" I asked excitedly

"No." said she as she rushed to pack herself breakfast and lunch for the day. I sat at the table.

"It's not fare... were could he have gone?" I mumbled, mom looked at me and stopped packing

"Jess I know you're worried about Max, but he's a dog, dogs are built for the wild."

"Not Maxie." I said as she sat beside me "I raised that dog form a puppy, he's big stupid and clumsy."

"If he's so stupid then you have nothing to worry about." She said then got up and started packing again.

"What do you mean?" I asked I scrunched up my face as if it would help me to understand.

"I mean that if Maxie's as dumb as you say he is then he probably just saw a squeal and chased it into the woods." I folded my arms and looked out the window "Look baby if you're really that worried then... you have a P.D. day today right?" I nodded "Then why don't you go look for Max yourself?" I smiled and ran up the stares.

"Thank's mom!" I called down "Oh and tell your boss that starting work at 5:30 AM is retarded!" I ran in to my room kicked off my slippers and begun to get dressed. "Why didn't I think of that?" I asked myself as I put on my black jeans and slipped on my oversized 'Free Kisses' hoodie, "I'm even more stupid then Max." I brushed my strait blonde sholder length hair and pulled it back in high ponytail. by the time I was lacing up my white running shoes my mom was long gone. I opened the door jumped of the porch and ran into the woods.
