Y/N's POV

Midnight came and I vanished before her eyes.

I could feel her devastation because I could see the burden that I put on her heart.

I just wanted this to end. I was doing nothing but causing pain.

I lost Jimin, my only chance out of this hellhole and now I was slowly wearing out my mother.

I talked to her in an attempt to make her pull the plug on me.

I wanted her to let me go.

I laid on the bed by her side to cherish my last moments with her.

I just prayed that she would take the right decision in the morning.

After the sun shined bright in the sky, I saw my mother open her eyes.

She was crying in her sleep so her eyes were red and puffy.

She got up and got dressed.

After she had a cup of coffee she picked up the phone and started playing with it.

She was rubbing her thumb on the screen, pressing digits but then erasing them.

She was tearing up and breathing heavily the whole time.

Y/N: It's OK mom. I want you to let me go.

It was like she heard me because she finally managed to type in the number and call.

She placed the phone hesitantly next to her ear and waited for the call to be answered.

Mom: Hello.

I was close enough to hear the conversation.

Nurse: How may I assist you?

Mom: I-I am a patient's mother. Her name is Y/N, she is in the room 1310.

Nurse: Yes! I remember you. Y/N is lucky to have such a caring mother like you miss.

My mother started wailing.

Nurse: I'm s-sorry ma'am, Is everything OK? Should I send help?

Mom: I'm sorry...

She tried to hold herself together.

Mom: I'd like to speak with doctor Kim Seokjin please.

Nurse: Sure, give me a second to forward your call.

She waited while wiping of her tears.

Dr. Jin: Yes?

Mom: Hello doctor Jin, I'm Y/N's mom from room 1310.

Dr. Jin: Oh of course! What can I do for you ma'am?

Mom: I've decided to let her go...

Doctor Jin's voice suddenly became colder than before.

Dr. Jin: Oh, I see. You can come by in two hours then.

Mom: Thank you.

She hang up before he could answer.

Right after she ended the call, she let the phone slip from her hand and land into the ground.

She laid back and started crying again.

She mourned now because it was quite, lonely and not crowded.

After a while she got up and started getting ready.

She drove to the hospital and I followed her there, ready to move on, hopefully to a better place.

On the hallway to my room she took out her phone and called someone.
