Beyoncé is a week and three days past her due date. We're heading to the hospital late tonight. I believe the appointment is at 10 PM. Since her water hasn't broken, they're going to induce her by breaking it for her. I ain't gone lie. A nigga nervous as hell cause I haven't done this shit in a while. I'm ready for him to be here though.

I sat in the living room with Quincy watching TV. My phone vibrated against the coffee table. I grabbed it, surprised to see it was Vinnie.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Sup Dad?" He asked.

"Hey man, wassup?" I asked.

"Nothing! I just wanted to call and see if you could come to my birthday party today." He said.

"In Texas?"

"No, we had one in Texas so my Mom could attend, but we're having another one today at my Grandparent's house in Irvine. Can you come by?"

"Uh...yeah! I can! Send me the address."

"Okay bye!"

I hung up, thinking to myself how I was gonna go see him without Beyoncé getting all worked up about it. Should I just get out the house or should I tell her? With the baby coming soon and everything, I don't want Beyoncé to be in a mad state the entire time. Either way is going to lead to that though.

It might be wise that I tell her.

I know you're wondering why I'm still in contact with Vinnie and Khloe. Everybody keeps asking me that, but hell, I've been taking care of them since the day they were both born. I've treated them like my own even after that fact that they weren't even mine. Now that their Mama can't leave the state of Texas, I've been sending money to their grandparents just for financial support. I heard Roni got in contact with their father, but he wants nothing to do with them. That's cool! I got my kids! All four of them!

I knocked on the bedroom door just before peaking my head inside. Beyoncé, her mother and her girls were getting her things ready to take to the hospital. I have never seen so many baby supplies before.

"Hey baby!" She smiled.

"Hey." I said. "Can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Yeah!" She said. "What's wrong?"

I pulled her out in the balcony of our bedroom, closing the glass door behind us. I could tell she was nervous about what I had to tell her.

"What?" She asked.

"Um....I got a call from Vinnie asking me could I come to his birthday party today."

"What? Where?"

"It's at his grandparents house in Irvine." I told her.

She looked at me, thinking. "I don't think that's a good idea. I mean it's not that I don't want you to go, but anything can happen with me and the baby."

"I already told him I would come by." I said.

If looks could fucking kill....

"Why would you tell him you would come without telling me first? Your son could be here any day now and you just go out of your way to leave the house knowing they live a good 45 minutes away. What is wrong with you?"

I sighed, looking down at my hands. "That's my son." I mumbled.

She raised her eyebrows high over her forehead.

"Excuse me?"

"That's my son!" I said more sternly.

"No, that's not your fucking son. He has parents and grandparents that take care of him. He doesn't need you." She said.
