Christmas Eve

I have to admit.

Watching Shawn play with Quincy, Vinnie, Khloe, Ayla, and Ma'kai all at the same time was such a beautiful sight. Now I see why he wants more kids. I couldn't blame him. I have a soft spot for watching him take care of them. I was foolish to try and take these kids alway from him when they were all he knew and vice versa.

It's Christmas Eve and being with my husband and the kids is all I want to do tonight. Another reason is because the morning sickness has been real. Turns out this baby the both of us have been anticipating is definitely in the making.

I haven't told Shawn yet. It's going to be his Christmas Eve gift a little later on tonight! Once the kids go to bed, Shawn and I are hosting a little Christmas Eve party with our close family and friends.

Daddy, is Santa Claus stopping by here?" Khloe asked.

"He might be!" He looked at her. "You been good?"

"Mhmm!" She nodded.

"Well he'll stop by then." He said.

"Okay!" She said.

She ran over to play with Ma'kai while Q and Vinnie went to play the game in his room. Ayla looked so sleepy attempting to stay awake. Jay chuckled, picking her up. He sat down in the recliner by me and slowly began to rock her. She was knocked out in 2.5 seconds.

I watched Beyoncé lay Ma'kai in his bed. Everyone was coming inside downstairs with the finger foods and Secret Santa gifts. Bey and I had just put the kids to bed. Christmas is the only time kids actually want to go bed early!

"Wassup man?" Meek asked dapping me up.

"Nothing much!" I said. "Just got them kids in the bed."

I head in the kitchen to grab the drinks. I set them up on the table before going to fix me a plate. "Here baby!" Bey said handing me a nicely fixed plate.

"This mine?" She asked.

"Yep!"

I pecked her lips, "Thank you!"

"You're welcome!"

I took a seat in the recliner, right beside the beautifully lit Christmas tree. Beyoncé didn't take too much longer to join me in the same seat.

"So Shawn I saw you had the kids on your story." Meek said. "How's that going with you and Bey?"

"Good!" He nodded.

"Roni wasn't tripping or nothing?" He asked.

"She didn't really have a say so! Her mom got full custody of the kids about a month ago. She doesn't even see them that much, but I'm working on maybe getting some joint custody." Shawn explained as I nodded my head.

"And Bey you're okay with this?" Solange asked.

"Yeah! They've been here a lot lately. I don't have a daughter so Khloe, being that she's old enough to actually talk to me as a young girl, is just amazing to be around. I wasn't really here for it at first, but like I said, all they know is Shawn and I don't want to take that away from them."

"Yeah!" Everyone agreed.

"So what's next for you too?" Lala smiled.

I looked at Shawn, he looked me. We both shrugged at the same time making them burst out laughing. There was no way I was telling them about me being pregnant. I'm deadass serious about waiting until I'm showing.
