Maggie sat on her bed thinking....about Alex, she couldn't seem to get her out of her head. Lately Alex was all she had been thinking about, but what Maggie didn't know was that all Alex had been thinking about was Maggie. They had beca one really close friends over the past few weeks they had known each other, they really did care about each other.
Maggie decided to go for a walk to clear her head, she had been developing real feelings for Alex, bad. She tried her best to stop and push them down and just forget about them but she couldn't help it. As far as Maggie was concerned Alex was straight and regardless even if Alex did feel the same way she couldn't go out with her, otherwise her parents would kick her out. They knew Maggie was gay and they hated her for it, she would get hit because of it, they would threaten her because of it. So ever since she came out to her parents and ever since she saw the way the reacted she promised herself to NEVER act on her feelings, no matter how hard that was, because if she did, she would most likely be living on the streets.
Alex tried texting Maggie but she didn't reply, she was going crazy. It was the weekend so there was no school, her sister was out with her girlfriend and both of her parents were at work so she was home alone, she tried calling Maggie but still nothing, she got a little worried but didn't think much of it, she had become very distant from Jess but she was glad. She was happy that her friendship was over, happy that she had nothing to do with her anymore. With nothing else to do Alex decides to go for a walk.
Maggie was looking down at the ground as she dragged her feet across the gravel pathway, listening to her favourite song. All of a sudden that changed as she crashed into a taller figure.
"Omg! I'm so sorry I- Danvers?" Maggie reached her hand out offering Alex help off the ground.
"Sawyer hey!" Alex almost yelled.
"I'm so sorry I didn't see you" Maggie said, a little embarrassed.
"No it's fine, honestly, just like day one" Alex said smiling. Maggie smiled back, she was kinda glad she saw Alex.
"What are you doing here?" Maggie questioned.
"I was home alone and bored" Alex said laughing "but now that I have ran into you, do you wanna come over?" Maggie panicked a little, she had never been to Alex's house before, even if it didn't mean anything she still felt nervous. But, Apart from everything She decided to push her feelings aside and go, to keep her friend from exploding from boredom.
"Yeah, Sure thats sounds great" Maggie replied happily.
"Awesome, I tried texting you earlier but you didn't reply" Alex said giving Maggie a nudge on the shoulder.
"Oh, really? Sorry I left my phone at home" they both laughed it off and started walking to Alex's house.
As they arrived and walked in side, Alex walked straight to the kitchen.
"Do you want anything to eat?" Alex asked looking through the cupboards.
"Uh- no I'm okay thank you."
"Are you sure? I'm not the best cook but I can whip up some pasta or something" Alex and Maggie giggled.
"Okay, I'll just have what your having" Maggie said while admiring the house, she walked into Alex's living room looking at all of the baby and family photos that were hanging on the walls and that were placed on the cupboards. Maggie cam across one particular photo that looked like young Alex.
"Is this you?" Maggie yelled to Alex in the kitchen, Alex walked over to Maggie picking up the photo.
"Uh- yes, I think I was about 6 months"
