Alex was kinda nervous about seeing Maggie at school today, she didn't know if Maggie would be weird and mad or if she would just ignore her, but regardless she couldn't just dodge Maggie all day, no she had to go speak to her, explain why she snapped, not that she knew why, but she couldn't just leave it like this.

What if I just skip school, Maggie thought. Maybe I can call in sick. Suddenly Maggies Mum barged through her bedrooom doors.

"Maggie, get up, you're late for school" she demanded.

"I feel really sick, can I please just stay home today" Maggie begged faking a cough.

"No you can't stay home" she yelled, Maggie could tell she was mad, she didn't know why but she thought it was best if she didn't ask.

"Please, I feel horrible" Maggie asked again clearing her throat, she sat up pretending she was in pain.

"Fine, but just for today"

"Thank you" Maggies mum rolled her eyes and left her room before getting ready for work and then leaving for work, her father had already gone so she was alone, just how she liked it.

Alex arrived at school and headed straight to class, knowing she was already a little late, her first class was meant to be with Maggie but when she went to take her seat she realised Maggie was not there. Alex remembered that they were meant to have second period together as well so she was really hoping she was just late.
After her first period ended she ran to her second class, but Maggie still wasn't there. Even though Maggie was mad at her she thought she would text her to see if she was okay, after all she still cared.

"Hey Maggie, where are you? Is everything okay? Please text back, I'm worried about you?" Alex read the text a few time making sure it was okay before sending it.

Maggie received the text almost straight away, she couldn't believe she still wanted to talk to her, that she still cared.

"I'm okay" Maggie went to press send but stopped herself, instead she deleted the text and put her phone down, not sending anything.

Alex got more and more worried as the day went on, she still hadn't heard back from Maggie and she thought seething was seriously wrong, Maggie wouldn't just not show up.

As last period arrived and she could think about was Maggie, she was waiting for the bell to ring not so patiently, she thought it would be a good idea to go to Maggies after school, to check in, make sure she is definitely okay.

As soon as she heard the bell go off she ran out of the class room as fast as she could, she quickly texted Kara telling her she is going out and not to worry before running all the way to Maggies.

As soon as she arrived at the door she knocked loudly three times before waiting for an answer.

Maggie heard a loud knock, so she quickly ran down her long stairs to see who it was. Confusion came over Maggie as she saw a helpless Alex on the other side.

"Alex? Wh-what are you doing here?" Maggie questioned, frowning a little.

Alex sighed before leaping into Maggie arms, wrapping her own around Maggies shoulders "I have been so worried about you" Alex said letting go.

"I'm sorry, I was gonna text you back, I just couldn't, I thought you were still mad and yeah, and I'm sorry if I was to forward the other day, it wasn't my place I-"

"Is that why you weren't at School? Because you thought I was mad?" Alex asked, Maggie didn't say anything, she just looked down, But that's all Alex needed to know. Alex took a deep breath in and walked over to the couch motioning Maggie to follow. Alex tried to figure out what she was going to say before speaking.
