"Get out" her father said calmly.

"What?" Maggie replied.

"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE" her father yelled. Tears fell onto Maggies cheeks.

"No" her mother replied " you can't kick our own daughter out".

"You're right, but, we can fix her" Maggie pulled a confused expression. Suddenly her dad grabbed Maggie by the arm and dragged her to their black car. They throw her into the back seat and started driving.

"Where are we going?" She asked.

"Shut up" her father yelled. Maggie was about to text Alex for help but her mother saw her and took her phone off her.
When they arrived at their destination, they grabbed Maggies arm and dragged her in to a huge brown building. They walked over to what looked like an office and her parents started talking to the man sitting behind the desk. A few moments later 2 ladies walked out of a small room.

"Hello, you must be Maggie" one of the ladies asked putting her hand out to shake. Maggie didn't answer.

"The sisters will look after you" her mother said.

"And they will straighten you up" her dad mumbled under his breath. What? Straighten? What are they going to do to me? Maggie thought.

Her parents left Maggie with the ladies. One of them placed their hand on Maggies back and escorted her down a dark hallway and into a small room. The room was old and plain, it had creme coloured walls, no windows and two single beds with another girl about Maggies age sitting on one of them.

"This will be your room" one lady said.

"My room? What is this place? What am I doing here?" Maggie asked.

"This is your roommate, she will tell you everything" they said pointing to the girl on the bed.  The two women left the room and shut the door on the way out, Maggie walked over with an over night bag they ladies gave her, and sat on the opposite bed and sat down.

"Hello, I'm Sophie" the girl said holding her hand out.

"Maggie" Maggie replied accepting her hand, Sophie smiled. "What is this place?".

"It is a boarding school" Sophie paused "for gays" she finished, she started to tear up, it was obviously hard for her to talk about.

"Oh"

"It's for girls who parents dont accept them, the bring us here thinking they can change who we are, but the truth is we can't" a tear fell on Sophie's hand.

"How long have you been here for?"

"4 months, and it's absolute hell, we have hundreds of chores everyday, and if we don't do it properly then we are sent down to a dark basement for 3 days, the food here is also shit. They make us watch movies and documentaries about straight couples and they tell us that this is what normal people look like, they tell us that we are horrible people, they come in the rooms about every 15 minutes to make sure that we are not making out in the rooms, I just want to get out of here" Sophie said upset.

"I'm so sorry"

"Don't be sorry, now you have to go through it".

"No, I'm going to get out of here, and you are coming with me and then I will leave and I will go live with my amazing girlfriend because there is no way I am going back to my parents"

"You have a girlfriend?"

"Yeah, she is amazing, I love her so much, she is the best thing that has ever happened to me" Maggies words made Sophie smile. "Do you?"

"I did, I-uh broke it off before I left, I didn't want to, not one part of me wanted to, but my parents forced me to, I guess it was for the best, I mean she hasn't seen me for months" she stopped speaking when she realised she was crying "I'm sorry, you probably think I'm a weirdo" she said wiping away her tears.

"No, no, not at all " Maggie walking over and giving her a hug.

"We are going to get out of here, I promise.
